First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to purchasing or joining Evolution Travel. For all you could have known, Evolution Travel may very well be a scam and rob you of your money so this review could help you find anything peculiar about it.
To be totally transparent with you I haven’t used Evolution Travel so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you on it unless of course it’s worth investing in.
What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party review of Evolution Travel that will hopefully help you to make the correct decision in the end.
PRODUCT NAME: Evolution Travel (ET)
OWNER/S: David McCovy
TYPE OF PRODUCT: Travel MLM
PRICE: $30 one time fee + $69.95/month
SUMMARY: As far as I can tell, ET is not a pyramid scheme or a scam, in fact I’d consider it to be a legitimate MLM opportunity, at least for now that is.
The reason as to why I personally wouldn’t recommend you join it is because of the heavy emphasis on recruitment, the expensive costs to run the business and the fact that it probably is not likely to be a very profitable venture based on how other MLM’s seem to behave.
These are the reasons why I would suggest you skip out on ET. Or course if you still want to join, it may work out for although I wouldn’t hold your breath for such an outcome to occur.
FINAL RATING: 2/5

WHAT IS EVOLUTION TRAVEL?
Evolution Travel is a MLM company founded by David McCovy in 2015 and is a company that sells travel packages, much like another MLM I’ve reviewed called Traverus.
ET claims to be an “affordable home based travel business” and provides training and other resources to help you create a business in the comfort of your home. But, whether or not it is affordable, will probably be left to your judgement after I’ve given you an insight on starting and upkeep costs a little later on in this review.
ET’s headquarters are based in Las Vegas Nevada and it’s actually in a joint venture with another travel company called Archer Travel Service, Inc.
Just so you know, I have reviewed quite a number of MLM opportunities on this website such as :
- Arbonne
- Opulence
- doTERRA
- American income life
- Myecon
- Global domains international
- World global network
- Youngevity etc.
Which is why I believe I have a solid grasp on what makes a good or a bad MLM opportunity.

EVOLUTION TRAVEL’S PRODUCT LINE
ET’s product line is more so travel packages over actual physical products, which I’m sure is already something you could’ve guessed, they don’t really have any special packages per say, that they sell. It’s mostly just discounted travel packages which could be anything like a vacation package, sports game discounts, hotels and so on
As ET are partnered with Archer Travel Services, they actually provide some resort based packages and vacation packages such as :
- Carnival Cruises
- Disney
- Royal Caribbean Cruises
- Southwest Vacations
- Universal Orlando
- United Vacations
And quite a few more other things. ET does seem to cover a variety of travel packages as is to be expected considering that it is afterall a MLM that focuses on travel.
HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY THROUGH EVOLUTION TRAVEL?
As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Evolution Travel being no exception.
1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales
2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.
HOW TO GET STARTED
If you want to join ET, there are a few things that you will need to pay for, first is a one time fee of $30 and secondly a further $69.95/month, which is makes ET not the cheapest thing to get involved in.
For that money you’ll get access to the Professional travel agent package which includes the following benefits :
- 90% commission from your travel sales
- Customizable Travel Website
- Training & Support to grow your business
- Opportunity to earn residual income
- Discount directory (Travel discounts for you)
- Tax benefits
So this means, at the very least, you’ll be spending $869.40 for the year which isn’t the most expensive of MLM opportunities to join but, it’s still relatively expensive to start up your own online business when compared to other equally lucrative but cheaper opportunities.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
As ET is a MLM, it does have its own compensation plan. If you want to join the company, it’s very important that you actually learn the plan.
The PTA package actually does give you a 90% commission for any direct sales that you make but, you also get paid regular residual income if you decide to recruit people within your downline, as is the case with most MLM’s out there.
If you want a more In depth look at the compensation plan, click here or check out the video below

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
There Is A Heavy Emphasis on Recruitment
As ET is a MLM company, you probably will need to recruit as many people as you can until you can actually make a good residual income.
This of course means you will need to ask a lot of people and pitch them on the idea of becoming an ET distributors which, from what I’ve read regarding MLM’s, could potentially ostrisize you from your friends or family because in most cases you’ll kind of be forced to ask them to join so, when they join and fail, the blame will be put on you.
This will strain many of your relationships so, if you’re unable to talk to strangers or build funnels to try and recruit people who are genuinely interested, you probably won’t be able to succeed with ET. Even if you just try to go the direct sales route, although the commission are great, you won’t really get many sales as holidays are a seasonal thing.
That’s why recruitment is going to be essential to your success.
It’s Pretty Expensive
I’m not saying that around 900 bucks isn’t cheap for a MLM, to be honest it’s actually quite decent but, when you compare it to other online business opportunities, it’s not really the most affordable in my opinion.
Take this point as you will but to me, $869.40 is a lot to part with in a year where you’re not even likely to make it up by the end of the year.
No Income Disclosure Statement
The lack of an income disclosure statement means that we can’t see how well distributors are doing with the company.
However, having checked out multiple MLM’s and seen many income statements from xyngular, ariix, nerium, max International etc, I do have a pretty solid grasp on what the results will likely look like and news flash, it’s honestly not very good.
On average, only around 5% of members make around $1k/month whilst less than 1% seem to make a full time income, I honestly doubt that ET strays too far away from the norm, so if you do plan on joining, just keep in mind that the chances of success are really limited.
THE GOOD THINGS
The History Is Pretty Decent
Although ET itself is a fairly new MLM company, its partner company is actually very established having been around since 1953. This does add a bit of credibility to ET and reason to maybe join them.
Some People Seem To Really Like The Service
Some of the consultants really like the company and have had a very good experience with it from what I could find out in bbb.
Of course on the flip side there are a couple individuals with bad experiences however, in general it does seem to be mostly positive.

IS EVOLUTION TRAVEL A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?
As far as I can tell, ET is not a pyramid scheme or a scam, in fact I’d consider it to be legitimate MLM opportunity, at least for now that is.
The reason as to why I personally wouldn’t recommend you join it is became of the heavy emphasis on recruitment, the expensive costs to run the business and the fact that it probably is not likely to be a very profitable venture based on how other MLM’s seem to behave.
These are the reasons why I would suggest you skip out on ET. Of course if you still want to join them, it may work out for although I wouldn’t hold your breath on that outcome to happen.
MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.
The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because
– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.
The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
