Is Elepreneurs A Scam Or A Pyramid Scheme In Disguise!?

It’s likely that you have come across Elepreneurs through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Elepreneurs a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Elepreneurs review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Elepreneurs. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Elepreneurs so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Elepreneurs that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Elepreneurs

OWNER/S: Rob Oblon

TYPE OF PRODUCT: Health and wellness /entrepreneur MLM

PRICE: $249+

SUMMARY: Elepreneurs is neither a pyramid scheme or a scam but, there’s still quite a few reasons why I can’t recommend you buy into the system and products it promotes.

The focus on recruitment in order to succeed and ultimately generate enough money to overcome the initial losses you will face and the fact that the products are both in a oversaturated market and very expensive will make it hard to sell them when individuals can literally find better and cheaper products out there from other respected brands.

Maybe there are fewer special ingredients in these more established health and wellness companies however, most individuals won’t go around spending $30 – $60 on products when they don’t the company and especially not from new companies that aren’t established.

To be fair though, the most problematic issue is just the very low aptitude for success when it comes to MLM opportunities in general. This doesn’t mean you can’t succeed with Elepreneurs but, you definitely shouldn’t expect to, especially if you don’t have the right resources and training to guide you on the path to generating good leads and ultimately making profits.

FINAL RATING: 1.5/5

RECOMMENDED: NO

WHAT IS ELEPRENEURS?

Elepreneurs logo

Elepreneurs is a MLM system founded in February 2018 which is said to be a system that advocates entrepreneurship through their packages whilst dabbling in the health and wellness niche at the same time. This is because of it’s association with Elvacity, where Elepreneurs is essentially a modern day rebranding of it.

Elvacity was founded not too long ago either in 2015 and primarily sold health and wellness products with its main headline product being this “one of a kind” product called Meridium. This product for some reason doesn’t actually exist anymore but, the library of nutritional products available are quite vast.

Both of these entities also fall under a parent company called Sharing Services Global Corporation (previously called Sharing Services Inc). With current acting CEO being John Thatch.

As Elepreneurs CEO, it’s an individual called is Keith Halls. A little background on Keith would show that he’s had a very accomplished career within the MLM industry having worked as an executive for Nu Skin whilst having also promoting  Youngevity and having shares within the corporation from 2012 – 2018.

In short, this shows that at very least Keith as a fair few years in the industry however, there is slightly shady element to him where in 2017 he pleaded the fifth to a court case regarding insider trading (this probably implies youngevity were or even currently doing some shady business behind the scenes).

ELEPRENEURS PRODUCT LINE

There doesn’t seem to be any products that represent teaching you how to become entrepreneurs, of course I know Elepreneurs is an MLM therefore by joining them you will become an entrepreneur however, there doesn’t seem to be much regarding this side of Elepreneurs product line.

As for the Elvacity products, there are quite a number of them, the likes of which include :

  • D.O.S.E Coffee – “weight managing, mood enhancing, nootropic infused, happy coffee”, retails at $105 for a 4.8 oz tub (137 g)
  • D.O.S.E Choclevate – a “delicious chocolate functional beverage”, retails at $105 for a 6.4 oz tub (181 g)
  • D.O.S.E Nitro – a “weight managing, mood enhancing nootropic & nitric oxide promoter”, retails at $117.50 for a 3 oz tub (90 g)
  • D.O.S.E Zest – “the perfect afternoon pick-me-up”, retails at $105 for a 5.29 oz tub (150 g)
  • vanilla chai and georgia peach tea – “contains a proprietary blend of powerful appetite controlling, mood and focus enhancing ingredients”, no retail pricing provided
  • Timeless Eye Gel – “eye enhancer reduces the look of wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes”, retails at $55 for a 0.33 oz bottle (10 ml)
  • Elier Moor Mud Mask – “anti-aging mask that purifies skin with mud from a sought-after region in Europe”, retails at $27.50 for a box of ten single-use sachets
  • Elier Facial Serum – “anti-aging skin care designed to deeply nourish and regenerate at the cellular level resulting in a more youthful look”, retails at $67.50 for an unknown bottle size (not printed)

First of all in order to check out these products you will need to go to Elevacity’s website which is a bit weird considering it’s 2020 (nearly 2021 at the writing of this review) and it’s also worth noting they do $19.95 trial pack of some of their products if you’re interested.

Either way, just looking at the retail prices for the items that are shown, they’re still very expensive so, I don’t know how easy it’d be to convince consumers to purchase elepreneurs goods over cheaper and likely more reliable brands.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH ELEPRENEURS?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Elepreneurs being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to join Elepreneurs, they have a few different packages you can choose from called the enrollment packs, including a $49 annual membership fee.

The enrollment packages you choose from include the following :

  • Happier – $299
  • Happiest – $549

Of course the more expensive the enrollment pack, the more products you’ll receive with the “happiest” pack likely providing you the best bang for the buck in terms of the discount you’ll receive per product.

On top of this you’ll need to pay a further $40 autoship on a monthly basis

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Elepreneurs has a fairly robust compensation plan consisting of 6 different ways through which you can earn money from them.

But first I want to discuss the multiple membership ranks you can achieve as a member. In total there are 12 different ranks. These ranks need you to meet the requirements set by the company. As for what these ranks are and the requirements, they include the following :

  • Star : sign up as an Elepreneurs affiliate
  • Bronze : generate 2500 GV a month
  • Silver : generate 5000 GV a month
  • Gold : generate 10,000 GV a month
  • Platinum : generate 20,000 GV a month
  • Diamond : generate 40,000 GV a month
  • Black Diamond : generate 80,000 GV a month
  • Royal Black Diamond : generate 150,000 GV a month
  • Ambassador : generate 300,000 GV a month
  • Crown Ambassador : generate 500,000 GV a month
  • Royal Crown Ambassador : generate 1,000,000 GV a month
  • Triple Crown Ambassador : generate 2,000,000 GV a month

Gv stands for group volume which is the total amount of retail sales and personal purchases your downline generates where each leg of your downline will only be able to generate a max of 50% of the total GV .

Since the last time I reviewed elepreneurs around a year or so ago the company has completed its compensation plan to make it even more convoluted than previously.

Of course I’ll explain to you the main elements of the plan below to give you rough idea as to how you’d earn with the company.

  1. Retail Sales : You’ll be able to make commissions from any products that you sell directly. It’s between 10 – 20% in this case
  2. Recruitment Commissions: these are commissions affiliates earn every time they recruit a new individual. It’ll be $75 for a happier pack recruit and $150 for a happiest pack recruit. There’s also a coded bonus that pays out based on tiers at $12.50 – $25 with higher tier members get the largest rewards
  3. Residual Bonus : elepreneurs uses a unilevel structure to pay affiliates residually recurring commissions from sales generated by recruits down 10 levels. The payout rate is between 1 – 7%
  4. Leadership Bonus : This bonus is only available for Platinum members and higher and pays members between $400 – $1000 per month for achieving these ranks
  5. Diamond Bonus Pool : Elepreneurs takes 0.5% of monthly company-wide sales volume and places it into the Diamond Pool. Any affiliate ranked at diamond or higher will be eligible to receive income from this pool
  6. Ambassador Pool Bonus : Elepreneurs takes 1.5% of monthly company-wide sales volume and places it into the Diamond Pool. In turn Ambassador level or higher ranked individuals will be eligible to receive shares from a 0.5% pool and a 1% pool.

If you’d rather check out the compensation plan through video, watch the one below.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Recruiting Is Necessary To Succeed

If you want to win as an elepreneurs distributor, you will need to be exceptional at recruitment or simply very good at bringing leads to your direct sales website in order to makes sales.

The fact of the matter here is that near enough no one will win in the game MLM asks you to play

The requirements for the highest ranks and in turn the highest rewards are very steep hills to climb. Of course this doesn’t mean that you’ll fail as a member of Elepreneurs however, you’re in a boat where it will be the most likely scenario.

In fact companies like Elepreneurs tend to encourage recruiting family and friends too which, obviously isn’t going to be great for you relationships in the long run.

That’s why I would always suggest finding leads, preferably targeted leads, that aren’t closely related to you because this way you’re not risking any major backlash as individuals are joining due to their own decisions and not because they have sympathy for your business.

So, if you’re no good at recruitment or you’re not willing to invest a ton of time and money to get good at it, I’d highly suggest giving Elepreneurs a miss.

It’s In An Oversaturated Market

The health and wellness niche is over Saturated with tons of competitions from huge established brands like Avon, Senegence, nerium international, etc so, another, honestly generic, health and wellness company put into the mix doesn’t seem like it’ll bode well for most members anyways.

The fact that Elepreneurs has rebrand itself from Elvacity to restart their marketing campaigns, which they started in 2015, just to get traction in this field is testament to the unlikelihood of another health product succeeding in this very competitive market.

This and the fact the products are also super expensive will make most people question making a purchase through Elepreneurs anyways especially when there are other more established brands with better products at cheaper prices and ultimately a better consumer experience.

I get why the products are as expensive as they are, Elepreneurs are trying to turn over a profit and the larger profit margins will assist with that but, in the end of the day you’re trying to sell to customers. Therefore, if customers aren’t willing to buy the products how exactly is the company going to prosper in this oversaturated market?

Most People Will Fail

MLM’s in general have a very small success rate so this is why I doubt Elepreneurs will be any different.

The income disclosure statements I’ve seen from other MLM’s like Scentsy, my daily choice, ariix etc, it shows that a very small portion of members become mildly successful, generally only 5% of members make $1k/month and around 1% make $2k/month or roughly around a full time wage (although not quite).

So, if you decide to join Elepreneurs, keep in mind that it’s very likely you will lose money with the company.

THE GOOD THINGS

There aren’t many good things I can say about the company to be honest. It’s basically you’re run of the mill health and wellness (and possibly a entrepreneurship) MLM company that’s way too young to judge if it’ll be worth investing in as it’s not old enough to officially be crowned a scam or pyramid scheme.

IS ELEPRENEURS A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

Elepreneurs is neither a pyramid scheme or a scam but, there’s still quite a few reasons why I can’t recommend you buy into the system and products it promotes.

The focus on recruitment in order to succeed and ultimately generate enough money to overcome the initial losses you will face and the fact that the products are both in a oversaturated market and very expensive will make it hard to sell them when individuals can literally find better and  cheaper products out there from other respected brands.

This doesn’t mean you can’t succeed with Elepreneurs but, you definitely shouldn’t expect to, especially if you don’t have the right resources and training to guide you on the path to generating good leads and ultimately making profits.

Therefore, I personally won’t recommend Elepreneurs as an opportunity to pursue.

HOW I MAKE MONEY ONLINE

Although MLM’s have created its fair share of millionaires over the years, more often than not when it comes to training newbies and teaching them how to succeed in the biz, they tend to be very lacklustre…

This is why so many people tend to fail!

Therefore, personally I would suggest you look into creating your own brand, particularly through a website, whilst ultimately getting involved in my #1 money making method online as a result.

If you’re curious as to what my #1 make money online method online is, it’s affiliate marketing!

By having your own website and essentially driving targeted traffic to it, not only can you sell whatever MLM product you want, it’s also possible to sell other products too without even purchasing stock.

By doing this not only would you make extra commission per sale but you also won’t need to worry about fulfilling orders for customers and dealing with their potential complaints!

I’ve personally made over $100 in a day as a result of implementing affiliate marketing to my online business!

Here’s a screenshot of one specific payment

Others have made way more than me but, the fact of the matter is that it works, which is why I would highly recommend you look into it.

If you’re intrigued by the potential of affiliate marketing, I’ve put together a very in-depth guide diving into what affiliate marketing is, how long it takes to make your first bit of income along with how to effectively grow your online business and maintain its income.
