Is My Daily Choice A Scam?(Another Pyramid Scheme!?)

It’s likely that you have come across My Daily Choice through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is My Daily Choice a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to give you in this My Daily Choice review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining My Daily Choice. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of My Daily Choice so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at My Daily Choice that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: My Daily Choice (MDC)

OWNER/S: Josh and Jenna Zwagil

TYPE OF PRODUCT: Health and wellness MLM

PRICE: $69 + autoship

SUMMARY: The good news is that MDC isn’t a pyramid scheme or a scam, it’s a legitimate MLM and could be potentially profitable for you however, it is still a MLM company therefore, it has a lot of the problems that MLM companies tend to have.

The issues with stockpiling, the fact that in order to succeed you will need to be very good at recruiting and the really low rate of success according to MDC’s income disclosure statement, really make MDC something that I cannot personally recommend to join.

Of course, if you’re still interested in it, there’s still the possibility you may become one of the highest earners within the company but, in my opinion MDC or any other MLM for that matter probably isn’t going to be your best choice of business opportunities to pursue.

FINAL RATING: 2/5

RECOMMENDED: NO

WHAT IS MY DAILY CHOICE?

My Dailly choice logo

MDC is yet another health and wellness MLM (trust me there’s an insane amount of them around now) which was founded in May 2014 by Josh and Jenna Zwagil.

The main difference between MDC and other MLM’s is the main ingredient it uses for its product line which is this “exotic ingredient” called Deer antler velvet. This ingredient is supposedly able to boost strength and endurance, improve the way the immune system works, counter the effects of stress, and promote rapid recovery from illnesses.

Besides using this ingredient within their products, MDC also offers a business opportunity for anyone looking to make some “extra cash on the side”. Of course I’ve reviewed my fair share of MLM opportunities on this website such as :

So I have pretty good idea, in regards to the success rates, for most people who get involved in these kind of opportunities and that’s what I’ll be delving into within this review.

MY DAILY CHOICE’S PRDOUCT LINE

MDC’s product line consists of multiple different cans of spray which aim to provide certain health benefits for the users, namely the one their main ingredient, deer antler velvet, provides such as weight management, helping you to sleep better and so on.

A few of the products sold by MDC includes :

My daily choice products

  • Peak : Dear Antler nutritional spray
  • Shield : PH balancing nutritional spray
  • Boost : Energy increasing spray
  • Sleep : sleep improvement spray
  • Trim365 : a spray made to help you with weight loss
  • Brain : A spray made to increase your cognitive abilities

They also sell a bunch of CBD products under the name HempWorx so If you want to check out the rest of the product line, you can click here to do so.

WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK OF THE PRODUCTS?

As I’ve not personally tried the products myself, I can’t really make a judgement on their quality however I did do a bit of research on BBB and this is what I found.

The products seem to be getting a mixed reception with some people liking the company and the integrity of it whilst others just don’t seem to appreciate them at all.

My daily choice good

My daily choice bad

On another note, there are quite a few complaints regarding customer service but, I’d probably put this down to the lack of training for the members who join, who inadvertently will be the individuals customers will communicate with when dealing with delivery. Then again this honestly does not justify the poor customer service completely.

So in short, MDC’s products are a mixed bag and could cause some complications between you and any customers you may get once you sell for the company.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH MY DAILY CHOICE?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, MDC being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

In order to become an official MDC independent distributor, you will need to spend mandatory money on the starter kit, a website fee as well as a monthly autoship fee.

There are a large variety of starter kits to choose, all of them ranging between $69 – $599. The kits include the following :

  1. Spray Builder Pack $69
  2. Spray Director Pack $149
  3. Spray Executive Pack $299
  4. Brain Bears Builder Pack $59
  5. Brain Bears Director Pack $129
  6. Brain Bears Executive Pack $199
  7. Travel Builder Membership $69
  8. Travel Director Membership $199
  9. Travel Executive Membership $599

The website operational fees are $20 whilst the autoship costs, which qualify you to earn commissions from any sales you make, will likely be around $70 per month.

The costs themselves aren’t the worst that I’ve seen but, if you’re not very good at making sales and ultimately you’re put into a corner where you’re needing to spend $70/month on products you’re not all that fond of, the costs and all the other issues that come with it (stockpiling) will undoubtedly get super annoying.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

There are 2 different elements to MDC’s compensation structure, the first is making money through direct sales. You’ll be  able to make 25% on every sale you generate only when you’ve qualified by through purchasing your monthly autoship at the 50pv rate.

Anyways, in reality the profit margin isn’t strictly going to be 25%. That 25% is actually just the discount MDC gives its members for just being members. This kind of implies that you can charge whatever you want for MDC ‘s products and possibly make even more per sale than suggested.

Retail commissions are generally the weakest way to make money with MLM companies so, if you’re still interested in joining MDC, you should probably be aware of all the other money making methods offered too, which I’ll list down below for you.

  • Jump start bonus
  • Binary commissions
  • Leadership check matching
  • Global bonus pool
  • Rank incentives and bonuses
  • Vip auto club
  • Elite expenses account

If you want to get a more in depth look at the compensation plan, check out thier pdf by clicking here or just watch the video I’ve embedded below.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Recruitment Is Still The Key To Succeeding

Although it’s certainly possible to make very good money selling MDC’s products directly, it’ll still be very hard for the majority of individuals to excel in this way. Therefore, it’s recruiting where MDC, your direct uplines and anyone else in the MLM industry would suggest you focus on to maybe make good money in the end.

If you’re one of these individuals who came across MDC through a friend or family, the reason why they approached is most likely because by having you within the binary structure of their system, they’d be able to make a lot more commissions off of you

Or the other reason could be because they’re just starting out, which in this case means they need you to simply be eligible for residual commissions from the binary structure.

So, in short the key to success within a MLM company is to be an exceptional recruiter, whether it be through face to face interaction or a really good funnel online. If you don’t have one of these two skills, I’d honestly have to say that this kind of opportunity probably won’t be worth it.

Of course of you’re willing to put in the hours and learn how to recruit, then that’d be a somewhat different story.

You Could Deal With Some Stock Piling Issues

Another issue you may find is stockpiling is due to the requirement if purchasing 50pv worth of products, every month, just to be eligible for the commissions and discounts shown in the compensation plan.

If you’re great at making sales then this won’t likely be an issue because you can just sell off any stock you buy however, if you really suck at selling, there’s a chance that you will deal with stockpiling issues which may require you to sell the products off at a lose just so you don’t have to suffer or frankly be annoyed by having too much stock.

I can’t say that this is the biggest issue you or most people will have with MDC but, it’s definitely not an issue most people would consider a good thing, especially when you consider it’s a mandatory requirement to purchase 70 bucks of stock every month.

Most People Seem To Be Failing

This honestly isn’t very surprising to me beacause essentially all MLM’s tend to have very high failure rate, although you could say that’s the case with business related venture in general too.

My daily choice income disclosure statement

Anyways, as it turns after looking at the income disclosure statement, 90% of all members within MDC are averaging $1086.24 a year. This roughly equates to around $81 per month. When you consider the autoship is $70 and the totality of the starting up costs is roughly $1k too, at best most people will barely break even whilst most will likely lose out in their first year as a distributor.

My daily choice income disclosure statement 2019

This more recent statement depicting the earning from January 2018 – December 2019 shows more of the same, where out of  around 60k+ member only around the top thousand are making more than $1k/month which is around 0.1 – 0.2% of all earning affiliates.

On top of that, keep in mind that both statements show the average figure per ranks so, it’s entirely possible that the figures are inflated because of the top earners of each rank.

Overall the low success rate is probably the biggest problem I have with MDC so, if you’re not willing to take this risk, especially when taking into account the provided training won’t be great, I’d suggest giving MDC a miss.

THE GOOD THINGS

There’s not many good things that I can point out about MDC, I guess the relatively affordable start up costs and the products proving to be good for some people are somewhat of a positive but, besides that, there’s not much else that I would regard as being great or good about MDC.

IS MY DAILY CHOICE A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM

The good news is that MDC isn’t a pyramid scheme or a scam, it’s a legitimate MLM and could be potentially profitable for you however, it is still a MLM company therefore, it has a lot of the problems that MLM companies tend to have.

The issues with stockpiling, the fact that in order to succeed you will need to be very good at recruiting and the really low rate of success according to MDC’s income disclosure statement, really make MDC something that I cannot personally recommend to join.

HOW I MAKE MONEY ONLINE

Although MLM’s have created its fair share of millionaires over the years, more often than not when it comes to training newbies and teaching them how to succeed in the biz, they tend to be very lacklustre…

This is why so many people tend to fail!

Therefore, personally I would suggest you look into creating your own brand, particularly through a website, whilst ultimately getting involved in my #1 money making method online as a result.

If you’re curious as to what my #1 make money online method online is, it’s affiliate marketing!

By having your own website and essentially driving targeted traffic to it, not only can you sell whatever MLM product you want, it’s also possible to sell other products too without even purchasing stock.

By doing this not only would you make extra commission per sale but you also won’t need to worry about fulfilling orders for customers and dealing with their potential complaints!

I’ve personally made over $100 in a day as a result of implementing affiliate marketing to my online business!

Here’s a screenshot of one specific payment

Others have made way more than me but, the fact of the matter is that it works, which is why I would highly recommend you look into it.

If you’re intrigued by the potential of affiliate marketing, I’ve put together a very in-depth guide diving into what affiliate marketing is, how long it takes to make your first bit of income along with how to effectively grow your online business and maintain its income.
