It’s likely that you have come across SwisDerm through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.
Is SwisDerm a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this SwisDerm review.
First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining SwisDerm. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.
To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of SwisDerm so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.
What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at SwisDerm that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.
PRODUCT NAME: SwisDerm
OWNER/S: Vincent Low
TYPE OF PRODUCT: skincare/peronsal care based MLM
PRICE: $60 – $1400 + monthly autoship
SUMMARY: Being in business for 7 years does mean that there must be some legitimacy behind the company however, considering the lack of transparency, the heavy emphasis on recruitment and even the overhyping of their products, not to mention it operates in a country where the financial or business laws are not too strict, would in my opinion imply SwisDerm is a scam and a product based pyramid.
Therefore, I personally cannot recommend joining the company.
As for simply trying out the products, you could look into that and see if the price justifies the item but, even in that case I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money on the products either.
FINAL RATING: 1/5

WHAT IS SWISDERM?
SwisDerm appears to be a Malaysian skincare/personal care based MLM company founded by an individual named Vincent Low. However, for some reason this information cannot be found on the official website, which to me already comes across as a little suspicious.
As for when the company was founded, this appears to be in February 2013 so the fact it’s still around must mean that to sone degree SwisDerm and its team are decent job marketing the opportunity in Malaysia.

SWISDERM PRODUCTS
The products offered by SwisDerm are skincare based items which include the following :
- Swisderm Sun Protector – SPF 30 sunscreen protection
- S Factor – “fights against skin ageing”
- SwisWhite Bio-White Cream – “improves skin appearance, skin elasticity and eliminates dark spots”
- Hydrating Toning Lotion – “reduce wrinkles, lighten pigmentation, moisturizing, minimize pores, reduce blackheads, reduce whitebeads, brightening (and) lifting”
- 3S Capsule – skincare for the face with anti-aging
- B’tox Cream – “smooth facial lines and wrinkles, contour face, moisturizes dry, rough skin, lift sagging cheeks, repair damaged skin cells”
They don’t appear to tell their retail pricing on the official website but, according to iprice each item is between 130RM – 400Rm which equates to roughly $40 – $100.
So, they’re far from affordable for the typical Malaysian individual who would be the most likely to get involved with SwisDerm’s opportunity.
Once again though, the lack of true transparency on the website is a bit of a concern.
HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH SWISDERM?
As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, SwisDerm being no exception.
1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales
2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.
HOW TO GET STARTED
If you want to promote SwisDerm’s and earn from the company’s compensation plan, you’d need to purchase a membership pack, with the more money spent on a pack resulting in a higher potential payout from the compensation plan :
- Fast Start – $60 (1 SwisDerm product)
- Bronze – $120 (2 SwisDerm products)
- Silver – $340 (6 SwisDerm products)
- Gold – $780 (14 SwisDerm products)
- Platinum – $1400 (28 SwisDerm products)
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
This is also another part of the opportunity that SwisDerm isn’t very transparent and is likely only shown to official affiliates. Of course I did a bit of digging and managed to gather some information on the compensation plan.
Direct Recruitment Commissions
This is a form of commissions affiliates will receive if they recruit a new member who buy a starter kit. The commissions are 40% of the kits value :
- $12 on recruitment of a Fast Start tier affiliate
- $24 on recruitment of a Bronze tier affiliate
- $72 on recruitment of a Silver tier affiliate
- $168 on recruitment of a Gold tier affiliate
- $336 on recruitment of a Platinum tier affiliate
There are other tie in bonuses to this such as a supposed 6% commission if a presentation is also made to the new affiliate and a 5% key in bonus for platinum tier members.
Residual Commissions
SwisDerm pays its affiliates residually by using a binary structure. This means that every affiliate will be placed at the top of the structure with the ability to recruit an individual on the left and right legs of the structure.
These recruited affiliates will be able to do the same allowing for a theoretically infinite number of potential recruits and in turn the potential to earn residual income infinitely vertically.
As for how the earnings are distributed, SwisDerm tallies up the sales volume in each leg everyday (with sales volume being determined by the membership sales).
After tallying up the sales volume on each leg it will pay you out a 10 – 15% commission based on the weaker binary leg. The commission will be based on the tier the affiliate signed up as :
- Fast Start and Bronze tier affiliates earn 10%
- Silver tier affiliates earn 12%
- Gold tier affiliates earn 13%
- Platinum tier affiliates earn 15%
The remaining volume at the end of the day is then flushed for the following day.
Matching Bonus
This bonus uses a unilevel structure to payout its members. It goes down 5 levels deep and up 5 levels too. In this case an affiliate will be paid a 5% residual commission from these other recruits and upper level affiliates.
Infinity Bonus
SwisDerm affiliates are able to earn 4% to 8% on something called their “super right leg”. However, it isn’t very clear what this super right leg bonus is.
Rank Achievement Bonus
This is a time sensitive bonus that appears to pay affiliates who reach a specific rank cash bonuses or holiday incentives.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
They Aren’t Very Transparent About The Business
In order to get any info about swisderm, whether it be the compensation plan or even just finding out the owner behind the MLM, you’ve got to do a fair bit of digging and that honestly doesn’t make it come across as a very reliable company to work with.
At the very least I would expect the compensation plan and even the retail prices of their products to be visible on their website but, that’s just not something swisderm do.
Maybe this is just how MLM’s operate in Malaysia but, this doesn’t mean that this manner of operation is worth trusting, in my opinion at least it isn’t.
Recruitment Seems To Be A Huge Focus
From the little info I could find on the compensation plan, it seems that recruitment is a heavily focused element of the way affiliates will be making money, whether it be increasing your rank or just increasing the number of people underneath to generate commissions through recurring membership sales.
Now, I’m sure that to some degree you will be able to make money through selling the products on offer (which are falsely advertised) but, the fact of the matter is that not many affiliates if any will be making very much at all unless they’re willing to do whatever they can to recruit others.
The Products Have Been Overhyped
The products have in some instances been falsely advertised where even on the official SwisDerm Facebook page they claim that one of their products essentially cured the eczema of a user who was suffering from it.
Now, maybe to some degree it may have worked but, the fact it isn’t registered to a clinically proven firm to produce these results is to some degree falsely advertising the capabilities of their personal care items.
If you think about it, considering the company’s been in business for over 7 years they should have at least got to officially testing the abilities of their products and officially gotten recognised by medical governing bodies.
However, the fact they haven’t must mean that to some degree they could be overhyping their frankly very expensive products.
THE GOOD THINGS
I honestly don’t think that there all that many positives about the company. I guess I can appreciate that they actually offer physical products but, even then you won’t be able to purchase directly from SwisDerm without being a member. Furthermore, physical products also don’t mean that it’s impossible for said company to be a pyramid scheme either…
Other than that there aren’t very many good things about SwisDerm, in my eyes atleast.

IS SWISDERM A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?
Being in business for 7 years does mean that there must be some legitimacy behind the company however, considering the lack of transparency, the heavy emphasis on recruitment and even the overhyping of their products, not to mention it operates in a country where the financial or business laws are not too strict, would in my opinion imply SwisDerm is a scam and a product based Pyramid Scheme.
Therefore, I personally cannot recommend joining the company.
As for simply trying out the products, you could look into that and see if the price justifies the item but, even in that case I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money on the products either.
MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.
The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because
– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.
The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
