It’s likely that you have come across Waiora through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.
You may think that Waiora is a scam. Maybe you were told how awesome the anti aging products are and how it is possible to make money through Waiora’s MLM structure too.
However, your skeptical about its potential which is why you’re here right?
First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to purchasing Waiora.
For all you could have known, Waiora may very well be a scam or something completely illegitimate like a pyramid scheme or a complete scam so taking your time to do an extra bit of research can save you from quite a bit of financial heart ache.
To be transparent with you I am not a member of Waiora so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you this product unless of course it’s worth investing in.
What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at this system that will hopefully help you make the correct decision in the end.
PRODUCT NAME: Waiora
OWNER/S: Stan Cherelstein (Founded 2004)
TYPE OF PRODUCT: Health And Wellness MLM
PRICE: $29.95 + other fees
SUMMARY: Waiora in my opinion simply isn’t a very good MLM company. Although it is legitimate it has had quite a few major legal problems in the past which is definitely something that should affect your reasons to join and is kind of a little telling of what the company actually is. I’d avoid definetly avoid Waiora if I were you.

WHAT IS WAIORA?
Waiora is a health and wellness MLM company that focuses on anti aging products. It’s also the brother company to another MLM company focused on selling coffee called Javita.
Waiora was founded in 2004 by Stan Cherlestein and has been getting quite a bit of heat from the law due to some of their unethical practices, I’ll get back to the details later in the review.
So the first thing you’ll need to know before thinking of joining Waiora is the product line so let’s move on to that.

WAIORA’S PRODUCT LINE
This may suprise you but Waiora decided to cut down the number of products they have to only 4.This may have been because of the lawsuit they lost but, 4 products seems like an awfully small number of products to have a massive company like Waiora be based around.
This can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it, maybe the smaller amount of products might mean that the quality of each product is significantly higher or on the other hand you could believe that the small number of products might limit the amount you can sell.
Anyways let’s get back to the main point now, so what exactly are Waiora’s 4 products:
1. Healthy Aging Formula: A supplement with a combination of ingredients meant to help with anti aging
2. MegaDefense: This is designed to boost the immune system’s defences
3. Natural Cellular Defense: A zeolite designed to help your body absorb toxins in order to negate any bad effects
4. Superior Fiber Blend: This is a dietary fibre which is used for detoxing to improve your health
If you’re not familiar with MLM businesses, in most cases they tend to charge a lot of money for their products and of course Waiora is no exception. The Healthy Aging Formula will set you back $85 for a 60 days supply.
That’s quite a lot of money… Either this means that the product must be really good or just that you’re getting ripped off.
ARE WAIORA’S PRODUCTS ACTUALLY GOOD?
So to determine if the products were any good I did a little research on them. As I don’t own the products myself I can’t say for sure that everything I find is completely legitimate but it should give you a rough idea of what’s going on.
The first thing I’ll like to make note of which is a pretty big deal is the lawsuit in 2013. Within the lawsuit, Waiora were tried on the basis of false advertisement in regards to the ingredients in their products.
The specific product was their natural cellular defence line. The reason they were tried was because they claimed that the zeolite within it would really help out people who were ill.
As it turned out, once the product was tested, there was virtually no zeolite present within their natural cellular defence line. They were fined $12 million for their false claims regarding the ingredients present.
Since then they’ve had to fix this issue so now the zeolite present within the natural cellular defence is non existent.
I have not seen any negatives about Waiora’s product line but my guess would be that the products are decent but probably not worth the price they charge.
I’d say that from what I have learnt from health and wellness MLM’s like Senegence, Isagenix, Xyngular and Nucerity to list a few, that the product lines seem to usually be a mixed bag.
Maybe that’s different for Waiora but honestly I don’t see the products being a home run, so if you do join Waiora I think it’s fine to be a little skeptical.
HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY THROUGH WAIORA?
There are 2 ways through which you make money with pretty much any MLM out there with Waiora being no exception
1. You make retail sales and garner a commission for wvery sale you make
2. You make commissions through recruitments and other incentives and bonuses within the structure
HOW TO GET STARTED
In order to join you will need to part with an application fee of $29.95 and immediately after be required to purchase one of their packages which start of at around $120.
As is the case with most MLM companies you will also be required to purchase further stock to be eligible for the benefits of the compensation plan.
Usually your referrer will push you to purchase more stock in order for them to benefit too.
So the numbers may very well be a lot more inflated than I’ve mentioned in the long run

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Waiora is a MLM and just like every MLM company, they have a pyramid like structure determining the manner in which you get paid.
In this case, Waiora has a 15 level deep structure which menas that that recruits up till the 15th level in your downline will be paid in cash dependant on whether the criteria for any commissions were met.
Waiora have multiple ways that you can earn money through them.
1. Direct Retail Sales/Commissions
This is basically selling the products your self and keeping the difference. If you are physically selling the products, profit you make will be the difference between your wholesale purchase price and the retail price. So, if you bought a product for $40 and sold it for $75 you’d keep the difference, which is the $35.
The other way you can make direct sales is through your website. Through your website you’ll be directing members to purchase the products directly through Waiora, so instead you will make a commission for every sale you make.
These commissions range from 30-50% per product sale
2. Fast Start Bonus
In this area of the compensation structure you can earn up to 25% in the first sale a recruit makes as long as they remain within the first 3 levels of your downline.
3. Residual Income
This is where a lot of money made in MLM’s generally and the same definitely applies with Waiora. In this section of the compensation plan, you’ll make commissions off of every member within your downline.
As there are multiple ranks within Waiora ranging from silver to diamond club, this will also mean that you’ll only really get access to the maximum earning potential if you become a diamond club member.
I’m sure you can guess becoming a diamond club distributor will be extremely difficult especially if you have no connections whatsoever.
4. Bonuses
These are bonuses you receive depending on milestones you reach within the company. I believe you get bonuese everytime you move up a rank.
As you can see, the compensation structure is a pretty straightforward one, it definetly isn’t as complicated as other MLM’s I’ve reviewed like Market America but you should know as well as I do that making the most out of the compensation plan won’t be easy to do.
Check out this video on the compensation plan but, do keep in mind that it may be a little outdated as it was made in 2008
THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
$12 Million Lawsuit…
This particular point is a major turn off for a lot of people. Considering that Waiora actually lost and had to pay a massive $12 million fine isn’t something to scoff at lightly.
Worse yet, this whole lawsuit was targeted at the quality of their products. Actually… More like false information regarding ingredients but that still isn’t a very good look.
For me personally, if I were to get involved with a company, I’d like for it to have a fairly clean profile within its industry but, the fact the lawsuit was very high profile and the fact that Waiora lost doesn’t show that they a very clean look, I’d probably avoid Waiora on this fact alone.
Expensive Products
The products aren’t something I can class as affordable. The fact the products have also gone through some legal trouble might already suggest that Waiora’s products are average so, do you think spending $85 or there abouts for a “60 day supply is worth it?
I personally don’t and your customers on the other end might not like that the products you recommend are expensive too.
Then again as far as I know, selling a cheap or selling an expensive product generally require the same amount of work especially when you’re online but, if the effects and quality are average a lot of customers probably will dislike you and the fact you recommended them such mediocre and expensive products.
So I think it’s worth questioning if joining Waiora is worth it on your part.
Most People Will Fail
I couldn’t find an income disclosure statement on waiora but that doesn’t stop me from telling you what I have noticed in regards to most MLM companies.
Isagenix and market america are both MLM’s that I have seen the income disclosure statements of and within them, there was an overwhelming failure rate for members who joined their respective companies.
As is the case with lots of MLM companies, you’ll be hit with constant fees in order to be eligible for commissions and bonuses as well as be required to heavily recruit in order to get the money you want to make.
If you’re unable to do any of these and in general just aren’t very good at recruitment, it’s pretty clear to me that you’ll fail, in fact it’s pretty clear to me that most people will fail.
THE GOOD THINGS
Been Around For Over A Decade
It’s been around for 14 years so that must mean that Waiora has some form of credibility in the industry right? Whether or not it really is any good probably depends on if the lawsuit has effected your opinion on their credibility or not.
14 years is long running time for any business out there so it’s definitely a reason that Waiora has some form credibility in my eyes.
30 Day Money Back Guarantee If You’re Not Satisfied
It’s always nice when a money back guarantee is in place for a product, so it’s cool that the system is in place within Waiora too.

IS WAIORA A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?
The good news is that Waiora is neither a pyramid scheme nor a scam, it is a legitimate MLM company which of course has quite a few flaws.
Firstly it had a lawsuit in 2013, which it lost, for false advertising on one of their products which wasn’t a good thing to do on their part and another downside which is to do with MLM’s in general and likely applies to Waiora too, is that it’s likely you will fail within this business model.
That’s why I’d recommend you avoid Waiora’s MLM business opportunity because it’s pretty likely you won’t find success through it.
MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.
The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because
– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.
The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Waiora, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Waiora and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
