OGTask Review (Another $25 Sign Up Bonus Scam?!)

Welcome to my OGTask review!

It’s likely that you have come across OGTask through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to purchasing or joining OGTask. For all you could have known, OGTask may very well be a scam and rob you of your money so this review could help you find anything peculiar about it.

To be totally transparent with you I haven’t used OGTask so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you on it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party review of OGTask that will hopefully help you to make the correct decision in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: OGTask

OWNER/S: N/A

TYPE OF PRODUCT: GPT System

PRICE: free

SUMMARY: Yes OGTask is a scam and a scam that I’d recommend you tell everyone in your circle to avoid at all costs.

This is because it’s not the first GPT site of its type that I’ve seen on the internet, in fact many of its other variations have been exposed as clear scams multiple times over as clear data harvesting scam so if you were to join you’d be risking quite a bit.

Therefore, don’t fall for this unrealistic mumbo jumbo OGTask appears to state within its front page because it absolutely will not deliver on any one of its claims.

FINAL RATING: 0/5

RECOMMENDED: NO!!

WHAT IS OGTASK?

OGTask front page

OGTask is yet another one of these ovelry done get paid to sites claiming to be the #1 Influencer Network around, promising you a $25 sign up bonus, $10 – $15 for signing others up through your link and even making the bold claim of helping  individuals like yourself generate $100 on a daily basis.

The truth is OGTask is actually a full on scam and I say this with full conviction. This isn’t the first site of its kind that I’ve personally checked over the last couple years or so.

OGTask is more like the 40th and I’m pretty sure there have been upwards 100+ iterations that I haven’t personally seen, with new ones like OGTask more or less coming out at least a few times every month.

If you’re curious about a few of the other variations I’ve exposed, some of them include :

In the next part of the review I’ll go over how OGTask works so that you at least know the reason why I think it’s a scam along with a bunch of red flags I’ve noticed within these GPT sites to solidify its position of a scam in my eyes.

HOW DOES OGTASK WORK?

The truth is that OGTask will not work as you’d actually want it to. What this means is that no you will not make $25 for just signing up, no you won’t make $10 – $15 per referral and you most definitely will not make $100 daily via the tasks OGTask offers its members within their members area.

This isn’t to say that OGTask’s owner won’t try to make you believe the site works, I can almost guarantee that your dashboard will show an increase in your “funds” whenever you complete a task, sign up, sign others up and so.

In fact I’m certain that the payout threshold will be pretty high too at roughly $200 just so they can keep you coming back, so that you can keep bringing the undisclosed owners new members until you finally find out you’ve been had.

The reason why OGTask will likely have a threshold around $200 is mostly so you can continue referring other people and provide them with more data, data that they’ll eventually sell for profit!

So yeah, OGTask is in reality a data harvesting scam and not a legit system that would actually make you money, if you think about it even for a second this does make sense otherwise, why and how could a free to join GPT system be able to give members $25 for just signing up.

Therefore, the most logical conclusion would be to assume there is something more going on behind the scenes. Of course in this case it’s the lack of any protection on your data, meaning OGTask will basically sell your data to third parties in order fill their pockets.

The data harvesting side of things can become especially dangerously for individuals who’ve actually used thier primary email address and even password to sign up.

This is because there’s a chance that OGTask may sell every little bit of your data to third parties, some of which may aim to compromise your very confidential accounts like PayPal or other credit based accounts.

I’m not saying that this is a very likely scenario to play out but, it’s certainly a very dangerous one that could happen.

If for some reason you’ve already signed up, I’d highly suggest changing your PayPal password especially if it’s the same one you used to sign up to OGTask!

WHO IS OGTASK FOR?

OGTask is obviously not a system that anyone should get involved with because it’s not made for people to make money off of, it’s made so the faceless individuals behind the scenes can make a profit by selling your data to third parties, nothing more nothing less.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

It’s Overhyped And Claims Unrealistic Things

This negative is pretty self explanatory as just by looking at OGTask’s front page, the $25 bonus to the making $100 daily state are goals that are simply way to unrealistic for the majority individuals using GPT sites, even for those generating tens of thousands of traffic on a monthly basis let alone someone who’s reach barely reaches 100.

Furthermore, it being around since 2015 and also being the #1 Influencer Network don’t make sense either especially when you consider OGTask’s domain shows it was registered in January 2020.

OGTask domain age

So yeah, a lot of what OGTask claims just don’t add up so, it only makes sense that I label this as a red flag.

The Income Statements Are False

A lot of the income statements used by OGTask in order to show “proof” that people are making money also don’t add up as can be seen on dates shown on the images below.

OGTask fake payment

OGTask fake payment

This is yet another pretty clear red flag.

The Owner Doesn’t Show Up

I’ve found that whenever a product or a company is faceless, 9 out of 10 times that specific product turns out to be a scam and well, that pretty much checks out here.

Due to the the reluctance of the owner/s not showing themselves, in my eyes at least, it implies they know OGTask is scam and don’t want to suffer any form of backlash by directly associating themselves with it.

Of course this lack of transparency is another huge red flag and a pretty common one among the scams that I’ve personally exposed.

There Are Multiple Variations Of This Exact System

Besides just the different names and colour palate, OGTask is pretty identical to the 40 or so other GPT systems of its kind that I’ve exposed. In fact I’m sure that there are hundreds of this exact model around whilst there seems to also be a constant supply of these systems that pop at least a few times every month.

This is arguably the biggest red flag OGTask displays and for obvious reasons at that.

OGTask Is A Data Harvesting Scam

As I explained previously OGTask is mostly designed to collect data, which it will then later sell to third parties (via solo ads probably) to make money off of your naivety.

Furthermore, this could also become problematic if the data your provide is one you use for your PayPal or other confidential information accounts.

I’m sure you can see why I consider this a red flag too.

THE GOOD THINGS

There is literally nothing good about OGTask, in my opinion at least, which says a lot about what it doesn’t offer if you ask me

IS OGTASK A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

Yes OGTask is a scam and a scam that I’d recommend you tell everyone in your circle to avoid at all costs.

This is because it’s not the first GPT site of its type that I’ve seen on the internet, in fact many of its other variations have been exposed as clear scams multiple times over as clear data harvesting scam so if you were to join you’d be risking quite a bit.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I’d suggest you check out my personal recommendation if you still want to make money online, though I’ll warn you right now, it isn’t something through which money will come easy.

It is nonetheless a great business model for the online space in my opinion

So what is this method that I’m talking about?

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it is because:

– expectations toward success are a lot more grounded

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– it is a very scalable business

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding OGTask, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about OGTask and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
