List Leverage Review (A Legit Email List Builder Or A Scam?!)

Welcome to my List Leverage review!

It’s likely that you have come across List Leverage through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to purchasing or joining List Leverage. For all you could have known, List Leverage may very well be a scam and rob you of your money so this review could help you find anything peculiar about it.

To be totally transparent with you I haven’t used List Leverage so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you on it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party review of List Leverage that will hopefully help you to make the correct decision in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: List Leverage (LL)

OWNER/S: Matthew Neer

TYPE OF PRODUCT: email list builder

PRICE: $47/month or $497 one time

SUMMARY: It’s hard to concretely lable LL a scam but, the way in which Matthew does business with it is a little misleading as it won’t be easy for you to succeed with it without knowing how to get LL in front of people.

In my eyes, the major negatives regarding LL are that the product is overhyped, the premise of the system is fundamentally flawed and it costs way too much for what it offers therefore, I personally would not look to LL to build you a list as its unlikely to help you all that much if you’re unable to solve the major problem of generating traffic.

FINAL RATING: 1/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS LIST LEVERAGE?

List Leverage logo

LL seems to be one of these too good to be true systems that promises more than it can actually deliver and this time, the guy behind the program is a veteran of producing these overhyped products called Matthew Neer.

LL is supposedly a system that can help you build a huge email list, practically on autopilot, in order to make you some easy money. In fact LL’s headline stresses that users can build a “free viral email list” with the system however, in reality there are many factors that won’t make LL a very useable system, all of which I’ll explain below.

But, right off the bat LL doesn’t come across as an all that trustworthy system but more so a system that overhypes itself and I can tell this because I’ve seen many systems like that, for example

Which is why I wasn’t all that in favour of this system from the get go, but let me tell you why in more detail why in the next section.

HOW DOES LIST LEVERAGE WORK?

As the name suggests, the purpose of this system is to help you build a list, which in and of itself is certainly a legit Internet marketing strategy.

Afterall, people who do have a list always seem to reiterate that “the money is in the list” and honestly I can’t refute this point because it is true to an extent. However, the problem with how LL wants you to build your list is unlikely to actually work out for you.

Matthew claims that he can help you turn one lead into a thousand, which obviously sounds great on the surface as it projects that all you need to do is bring in one person to essentially autopilot the growth of your email list but, the way in which this is done isn’t organic enough, in my opinion at least, for the list to honestly hold any kind of real long term value.

Firstly, in order to increase the size of your email list, you’ll need to promote LL itself to others. Now this is where the email list building happens.

So, once you’ve promoted LL to someone else and they’ve put their details into the form and paid for the product in the checkout page, you’ll automatically have this customers email address added to your email list. Furthermore, this person will “secretly” be added onto the email list of 5 other random LL promoters.

In fact even if you were to just randomly sign up to LL, your email address would randomly be added to 6 other LL members email lists.

As for what the benefit of having a person recruit is, everytime this recruit of yours signs someone up to LL, one of the 5 random email lists that the new recruit will join is yours, meaning you’re guaranteed in generating at least one extra email list member through this method.

What’s The Problem With LL’s Methods?

The major problem I have here is that this way of having people join your email list isn’t very good because firstly, they don’t even have a clue who you are so promoting products to them won’t be easy to do, in fact there’s a possibility that they’ll just remove themselves from your list.

Or worse yet, they could report you for sending them spam and then your whole list will collapse. All the hard work you put in building it would be for naught.

The other major problem you’ll face is actually selling LL. Of course, with LL occasionally adding random members to your list for simply being a LL member does mean your list will grow but, it probably won’t grow fast enough for it to be worth the initial investment.

Therefore, in order to grow the list at a much more rapid manner, you’ll need to learn how to get LL in front of people. You’ll need to learn how to generate traffic and I can tell you now, LL will not teach you how to do this. So, if you don’t know how to get LL in front of people, it just won’t be worth your time investment in building a quite frankly, mediocre email list.

Yes Matthew does provided some resources such as an 15 page ebook, email swipes you can send to people and even some webinars to get you going but, these still won’t show you an effective way to generate traffic unlike my #1 recommendation which actually does teach you.

The last problem you could face is that the people you’re promoting to are likely to be most interested in make money online opportunities.

Therefore, if your plan was to take your email list in a different direction, for example promoting weight loss products or even make up, although it may be possible to accomplish, it’ll be hard to direct your email list to the direction of your choosing.

The Cost

LL will set you back either $47/month or $497 as a one time fee. This in my opinion is definitely not worth the money, especially when many quality systems out there (particularly this one) are willing to teach you how to create a sustainable business and even a high quality email list for way less money, so it just does not make much sense to invest in LL.

But, if you were to promote it, you’d make decent commissions from $20/month or $200 for a one time fee sign up.

Furthermore, considering Matthew’s track record with mediocre products over the years, it just wouldn’t seem right for me to recommend and promote this low quality email list builder to you.

WHO IS LIST LEVERAGE FOR?

I personally don’t think LL is something that anyone serious about building an email list should buy because firstly, the method that it uses to help you achieve this is very flawed and secondly, considering the method LL is using, the price is way too expensive. So yeah, no one in my opinion should invest in LL

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

It’s Overhyped

The idea of being able to build a list essentially on autopilot without any form of traffic generation, in my opinion doesn’t really make sense.

In fact, in order to really kick start this process of building your list, you’ll need to get a lot of individual to sign up and actually purchase LL through your affiliate link first and let me tell you, that won’t be easy.

This is why I believe LL overhyping itself too much.

The System Is Flawed

The reason I say this is because you’re not generating an email list of people who know you are actively signed up to your list knowing what you do. All they did was sign up to LL, just like you trying to make some money and in turn they unintentionally were signed up to your list whilst trying to grow their own.

These people aren’t looking to purchase another MMO product, they’re trying to grow their email list and promote products to you so that they can make easy money through the email list.

In the end of the day, the email list subscriptions you’re getting aren’t what you’d want to get because they’re looking to sell products just like you, not buy. This is why I believe LL’s system is fundamentally flawed.

It Costs Way Too Much

There’s not much to discuss here other than the fact LL is way too expensive for what it offers and I’m sure you probably agree with me on that front.

THE GOOD THINGS

Other than the fact email list are a legit way to eventually generate revenue and I guess the commissions are decent too, I can’t really say there’s very many good things about it.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I’d suggest you check out my personal recommendation if you still want to make money online, though I’ll warn you right now, it isn’t something through which money will come easy.

It is nonetheless a great business model for the online space in my opinion

So what is this method that I’m talking about?

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it is because:

– expectations toward success are a lot more grounded

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– it is a very scalable business

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding LL, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about LL and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!

Thanks
