Welcome to my Ultimate Ecom System review!

It’s likely that you have come across Ultimate Ecom System through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to purchasing or joining Ultimate Ecom System. For all you could have known, Ultimate Ecom System may very well be a scam and rob you of your money so this review could help you find anything peculiar about it.

To be totally transparent with you I haven’t used Ultimate Ecom System so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you on it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party review of Ultimate Ecom System that will hopefully help you to make the correct decision in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Ultimate Ecom System (UEC)

OWNER/S: Steve and Evan Tan

TYPE OF PRODUCT: Ecommerce course

PRICE: $1497 or 3 x $597

SUMMARY: No, UEC is not a scam but, it’s certainly not a worthwhile investment in my opinion.

I guess you could argue that the course does provide legitimate information on dropshipping however at the $1.5k price tag and the fact there are many many other courses out there that cost a fraction of what UEC costs for similar if not better regularly updated content, I can’t recommend picking UEC.

Furthermore, dropshipping isn’t a very affordable opportunity to pursue either due to how many products you’ll need to get through and money you’ll need to spend on ads before finding a winning product

FINAL RATING: 2/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS ULTIMATE ECOM SYSTEM?

Ultimatel ecom system logo

UEC is another ecommerce and dropshipping course, this time created by Steve and Evan Tan. In recent years dropshipping has become something that’s really been pushed by “internet gurus” and this time it’s Steve who’s trying to get you to spend a lot of money to pick his brain but, whether or not it’s worth purchasing is hard to distinguish.

Steve and Evan tan

If you’re unfamiliar with dropshipping, in simple terms it’s the act of selling products to other people without needing to buy stock. Usually, this is accomplished by doing some research on a product that may be worth selling and setting up a store on shopify.

I’ll cover the contents of the course in the next section but first I’ll like to go over who Steve and Evan are so you can understand why they’re in the ecom space.

Steve is the figurehead of this product as only his name is present on the courses website. According to their website, Steve was born and raised in Singapore. He attended university, but eventually got tired of it and dropped out so he could pursue a career in eCommerce.

After dropping out he learnt a lot of internet marketing skills such as blogging, eBooks, Adsense, and many other things in this field.

It was around 2007 where his ecommerce venture finally started taking off. His business grew exponentially between 2008 and 2010 but afterwards, between 2011 to 2015, he had failed in many aspects of business too.

It was around 2016 when Evan decided to start working with Steve. These two later founded an online store which bought in 7 figures of profit before creating UEC.

So, in short the two seem to be pretty successful entrepreneur but, in this very guru centric market, its quite hard to rely on any one ecom course without thinking it as a money grab, which is why I’ll breakdown the course to help you make a more informed decision on the course before you even consider splashing the cash.

WHAT WILL YOU FIND IN THE MEMBERS AREA?

UEC is split into 4 sections which are available on a weekly basis for 4 weeks. These modules include :

  1. Finding Winning Products
  2. Launching and Testing
  3. Building Your Dream Team
  4. Scaling Systems

They seem like pretty generic modules and not all that detailed from the get go nevertheless, I’ll cover what you’ll find within each section below.

Week 1 – Finding Winning Products

This is a fairly basic module and it’s also what you’ll gain access to within your first week of purchasing the course. The Tan brothers will basically go over their preferred tactics of finding the hottest products to pursue.

This includes pointers on how you should go about finding the hottest products and how to set up a store, that according to Steve’s criteria, will set up an online store for maximum success.

Once again this honestly is a very basic module that you could just as easily learn how to accomplish for free on YouTube or through blogs but, I won’t knock it for being in the course because it makes sense to add the basics anyways.

Week 2 – Launching and Testing

This section covers how you should launch the winning product you learnt how to find in week 1. This section will cover how you can use compelling advertising as well as get your products in front people using Facebook ads.

Of course you’ll be taught how to set up ads, how you should budget for your launch and a few more things Steve recommends doing.

As the name suggests, there is a testing period within you launch process where your initial product may not be up to par therefore, you’ll likely need to use the tactics discussed in this module quite regularly until you find a winning product and it’s after you’ve the winning product is found when you should consider looking into week 3’s training.

Week 3 – Building Your Dream Team

In week 3 this module will be unlocked. This section simply covers the techniques Steve and Evan used to hire people to manage their business activities in order to free up their time.

Of course this is a section you’ll need to look into after you’ve got a store producing positive cash flow on the regular. I’m sure Steve is pretty knowledgeable in this regard so I think it’ll be worth understanding how Steve’s tactics on hiring employees.

Once again this is something you could easily learn for free online but, I guess it’s not too bad a module to have if you are ever able to create a profitable ecom store.

Week 4 – Scaling Systems

This section covers how you can scale your store from $1K a day to $10k a day. You’ll also be given access to a Facebook group as well as how the mind of an 8 figure entrepreneur thinks when it comes to scaling.

Lastly this section goes over some very generic mindset training. In my opinion this module does not seem all that useful considering more than 99% of individuals will not find success with UEC nevertheless, it’s not necessarily a bad addition.

HOW MUCH DOES ULTIMATE ECOM SYSTEM COST?

The course is actually way to expensive for what it seems to offer. Steve claims individuals are making $82k in 12 months through his course which basically suggests he has a student making around $5k – $10k in 2 months which is insane but, it’s obviously not something the average person could achieve without already having a decent bank size to pursue dropshipping.

So, I’m guessing that it is because of this anomaly of a result that at the moment Steve is charging $1497 or 3 x $597 for UEC!

Considering how basic the course looks and the unliklihood of it even being updated regularly, it’s an insane price to pay for a very small chance of finding success with dropshipping, which isn’t easy to do.

In fact before this the course used to be $2500, which is a ridiculous price for an ecom course in my opinion and to be honest with you, even at $1497, UEC is way too expensive for what it offers.

Considering it’s competitors like Dan Vas’ course or proven amazon course cost a third of what Steve is charging with similar quality if not way more in depth content, I can’t have a very positive outlook on how Steve is charging an arm and a leg for UEC.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Too Expensive!

At $1497 UEC is way too expensive for what it offers. You can literally find many other ecom courses that cost a lot less yet offer a similar level of value so, the asking price is one of UEC major set backs in my opinion.

In fact this isn’t even the minimum you’ll need to pay. Even if you consider dropshipping doesn’t require you to purchase products before selling them, you’ll still need to do a ton of testing on Facebook ads to find a formula that works as well as deal with refunds and all the poor products you try and promote before finding a winning item.

In the end of the day, not only is the course expensive but you’ll also need a decent amount of money to start off with dropshipping too otherwise you probably won’t be able to achieve all that much.

Basic Dropshipping Information

The information within the course is pretty basic, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but, when you take into account its price, this may be problem later down the line when you’ll probably need to purchase other courses to supplement other elements of the training that UEC doesn’t cover.

THE GOOD THINGS

The Information Is Legitimate

In the end of the day, the information within the course is legitimate so that’s the only major good thing about the course, and I guess the facebook group too.

IS ULTIMATE ECOM SYSTEM A SCAM?

No, UEC is not a scam but, it’s certainly not a worthwhile investment in my opinion.

I guess you could argue that the course does provide legitimate information on dropshipping however at the $1.5k price tag and the fact there are many many other courses out there that cost a fraction of what UEC costs for similar if not better regularly updated content, I can’t recommend picking UEC.

Furthermore, dropshipping isn’t a very affordable opportunity to pursue either due to how many products you’ll need to get through and money you’ll need to spend on ads before finding a winning product.

If you’re tighter on cash I’d recommend looking into affiliate marketing taught within my #1 recommendation whilst for ecommerce, proven amazon course is what I’d suggest looking into.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I’d suggest you check out my personal recommendation if you still want to make money online, though I’ll warn you right now, it isn’t something through which money will come easy.

It is nonetheless a great business model for the online space in my opinion

So what is this method that I’m talking about?

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it is because:

– expectations toward success are a lot more grounded

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– it is a very scalable business

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding UEC, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about UEC and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
