First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining SuperLife World. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of SuperLife World so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at SuperLife World that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: SuperLife World (SW)

OWNER/S: Paul Nair, Harry Tee, Leo and CEO Lai Tek Kean

TYPE OF PRODUCT: health and wellness MLM

PRICE: $71 – $1100

SUMMARY: The truth is that it’s hard to say if it’s a complete pyramid scheme or scam but, with the main premise to success being more focused on recruiting over sales, there’s a good chance that SW may be operating as a pyramid scheme.

The lack of an official document discussing the compensation plan, the pay to play aspect of it, the fact it’s in a competitive market is also kind of problematic on the business front for most, the pretty heavy emphasis on recruitment as well as the really low chances of success that MLM’s as a whole display, are the main reasons why I would advise against doing business with SW.

FINAL RATING: 1/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS SUPERLIFE WORLD?

Superlife World logo

SW is a health and wellness MLM that was founded in 2017, it’s currently located in malaysia and is run by Co founders Paul Nair, Harry Tee, Leo and CEO Lai Tek Kean.

The video below goes over the vision of the company

SW is not a small company either, at the moment it operates in over 40 countries and is also trying to expand in that regard although, right now it does appear to be most popular in Nigeria.

There’s not too much else regarding the founder’s backgrounds in terms of working within MLM’s in the past nevertheless, Lai seems to be fairly well educated having graduated from from the University of Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), also known as Malaysia National University with a degree in Political Science.

He then worked in the field of finance where he worked as a group sales manager for 3 years.

Paul also has a degree but, in engineering, whilst Harry and Leo don’t really have anything worthwhile to mention. From what I’ve seen of it, SW isn’t doing anything groundbreaking with their company nevertheless, I will go over its core components so that you have rough on how it works.

SUPERLIFE WORLD PRODUCT LINE

SW claims that their products are clinically tested on their website but, I’d suggest take this information with a grain of salt because they don’t seem to show any kind certification to prove this.

As for the number of of products SW has, the website seems to show the following 3 items :

  • SuperLife Total Care 30 – “prides itself as the origin of stem cell in treatment and prevention of diseases”
  • SuperLife Colon Care 15 – “enhances the health of your colon with essential ingredients such as Fibersol-2, Chlorophyll, Amla Extract, Green Apple Powder, Beet Root Powder, Aloe Vera Powder, Astaxanthin, Grape Seed Powder, Milk Thistle Extract, Psyllium Husk Powder, Probiotics and Multivitamins”
  • SuperLife Immune Care – “a proprietary blend of nature’s finest ingredients, powered with AFA Concentrate and Co-Q10”

For some reason the founders aren’t comfortable showing the prices of these items. If I were to make a guess, I’d assume they are probably quite expensive, likely to. Be $50 – $100.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH SUPERLIFE WORLD?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, SW being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to join SW and benefit from their compensation plan, you will need to do a couple of things. Firstly, you’d need to sign up under an already existing member and secondly you’ll need to purchase one of their 4 starter kits.

These kits include :

  • Starter : $61
  • Star : $110
  • Supreme : $440
  • Super : $1100

The main differences between the packages is that the more expensive ones will ultimately make you more profit per sale as the products within it will work out to have a larger profit margins per item sold, provided you’re able to sell them at their set retail price.

Also, the kits will determine how much an affiliate will earn from recruiting too, which makes joining SW kind of like it’s a pay to play business.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

I couldn’t actually find a compensation plan document to see how affiliates would be able to earn with SW but, after doing a bit of research I did manage to find the core elements of the plan. I’ll be briefly be going over in this section of the review to give you a rough idea on how you’ll earn with SW if you’re serious about joining.

Retail Commissions

Although I couldn’t find any information regarding this element, I’m pretty sure affiliates will be able to earn commission or profit in general through directly selling SW’s products themselves.

Recruitment Commissions

An affiliate will be able to earn a commission every time one of their personal recruits purchases one of the 4 starter kits. The amount each member earns will also be determined by what starter kit they bought in at in the beginning too, with the affiliates who purchased the super kit eligible to earn the most on this section :

  • Starter affiliates earn $12.50 when they recruit a new Starter affiliate, $15 for a Star, $30 for a Supreme and $40 for a Super
  • Star affiliates earn $15 when they recruit a Starter affiliate, $30 for a Star, $60 for a Supreme and $80 for a Super
  • Supreme affiliates earn $15 when they recruit a Starter affiliate, $30 for a Star, $140 for a Supreme and $160 for a Super
  • Super affiliates earn $15 when they recruit a Starter affiliate, $30 for a Star, $140 for a Supreme and $350 for a Super

Residual Recruitment Commissions (uncoded)

For this commission if an affiliate has purchased a lower level starter kit, the upline of this affiliate will be able to earn the remainder of the recruitment commission. This means after a Star affiliate has received their maximum of $80, the remaining $270 will be spread out to anyone that is the direct upline or higher whom are also higher ranked.

For example if the next higher ranked member in the upline is a Super kit affiliate, they’ll be able to keep the remainder of the commission, the full $270.

Residual Recruitment Commissions (binary)

Another way affiliates can earn with SW is via a binary a structure. This commission is tied to the sales volume which is also tied to placement of recruited affiliates within the binary team.

  • a Starter generates 50 PV
  • a Star generates 100 PV
  • a Supreme generates 400 PV
  • a Super generates 1000 PV

SW tallies up the sales volume on both sides of the binary team daily where the residual commissions are generated for each 50 PV matched on both sides of the binary team.

  • Starters earn $9 on their first match and $2 for matches two to twenty
  • Stars earn $9 for their first to fourth match and then $2 up to fifty-six matches
  • Supremes earn $9 for their first to eighth match and then $3 up to one hundred and ninety-eight matches
  • Supers earn $9 for their first to twentieth match and then $4.50 for each subsequent match

However, these commission’s are also capped at the amount affiliates can earn daily or monthly, which depends on which starter kit they signed up through.

  • Starters can earn up to $47 a day and $1410 a month
  • Stars can earn up to $140 a day and $4200 a month
  • Supremes can earn up to $642 a day and $19,260 a month
  • Supers have no income cap

Key-in Bonus

The Key-In Bonus is yet another recruitment bonus but, this one only applies to Super affiliates :

  • recruit a Starter affiliate and receive $1.50
  • recruit a Star affiliate and receive $3
  • recruit a Supreme affiliate and receive $12
  • recruit a Super affiliate and receive $30

Of course as I said I couldn’t find the official SW compensation plan document so theoretically there could be more elements to it however, from what I could find, it does seem like recruitment plays a huge role in this particular business.

If you want a more in depth look at the plan, I’d recommend you watch the video below

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Recruitment Is Essential For Success

My research on the compensation plan shows how crucial recruitment is for success considering a large majority of the plan literally requires you to do so in order to earn good money.

This isn’t to say it’s impossible to make money through just retail sales but, that recruitment will simply be the more efficient method per say.

That’s why I cannot recommend you join SW unless you’re already good at recruitment or are willing to invest more money and hours to get good at it.

It Uses A Pay To Play System (To A Degree)

Although the pay to play aspect of the compensation plan isn’t all that bad considering you’ll still get access to pretty much all the commissions offered from every type of sale even for purchasers of the lower level kits however, the fact you will need to spend $1100 simply to get access to maximum potential of the plan is certainly going to be a little annoying.

Hard To Find The Official Compensation Document

This may be somewhat of red flag as most other MLM’s do let you see the plan if you want to see it but, the difficulty in finding the compensation plan is not a very good thing in my opinion, considering it’s the most important document to study before joining any MLM.

So yeah, the lack of it on their website is a negative.

It’s In A Very Competitive Market

The health and wellness niche is super competitive with many other MLM’s such as enagic, nature’s sunshine, healx, HB Naturals and a bunch more so, SW being yet another generic health and wellness MLM isn’t doing it any favours.

There’s a good chance that the competition will drown SW out and who knows, it may go under. When you also consider the company is barely 2 years old, there’s a good chance it may happen in the next few years which is why it’s hard for me to trust in a company that’s only been around a few years and may very well disappear in the next few.

Most People Will Fail

The chances of success with SW is very likely to abysmally low. Even though I couldn’t find an official income disclosure statement regarding the earnings of affiliates annually, having seen many many other income statements from other MLM companies over the years, the rate of success is also unlikely to be great for SW.

Generally I’ve found that the top 5% of all affiliates tend to make around $1k/month whilst only the top 1% are making a full time income.

Of course these numbers aren’t what SW members are actually earning but, allowing for a buffer of around 2 – 3% give or take, I doubt SW are doing all that great.

THE GOOD THINGS

There’s nothing that stands out about this company so I can’t really pinpoint anything that I consider to be concretely good about it.

IS SUPERLIFE WORLD A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

The truth is that it’s hard to say if it’s a complete pyramid scheme or scam but, with the main premise to success being more focused on recruiting over sales, there’s a good chance that SW may be operating as a pyramid scheme.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding SW, please let feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about SW and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!

Thanks

  1. Hi Amhil, recently, I am also following this company and trying to find more information about them, because a lot of college students around me promote this SuperLife on social media. But I don’t think this company is legit because they claimed that they can easily earn money without selling the product(passive income). However, at the beginning they must pay RM450 to join as a member(not sure whether they got the company product after paying this RM450), after that, they have to recruit 2 members, then members under them also have to recruit 2 members and so on. This is can be classified as pyramid scheme, right? but when you ask them, they said they are legal direct selling company. but actually, the license that they post on their website is only valid from 26 Sept 2017 to 25 Sept 2019.
A pyramid scheme is illegal in Malaysia, and getting paid to recruit is also strictly against the law. But they are still members of DSAM, so I am confused…

    • Yeah, I personally don’t think it’s a very legitimate corporation either so I understand why you would consider it to be a pyramid scheme.

Normally when a company that is a mutli level marketing entity is highly dependant on recruiting to make money, governing bodies like the FTC would deem it as a pyramid scheme.

As for why your friends may believe its legal, sometimes it can take multiple years for a MLM to officially be labeled as a pyramid scheme and I guess they’re desperate to make money, no matter if a company is legit or not.

As for superlife World being a part of DSAM, I couldn’t actually find them there so If you’re seeing then there, I wouldn’t be able to tell you why.

All in all though, you’re right to assume that SuperLife World could possibly be a pyramid scheme so, I would definitely suggest not getting involved with it despite receiving any kind of pressure from your peers.

  2. Superlife world Company is legit. Stop lying to people. I joined Superlife world 2019.. and it’s not 2021 , the progress is super awesome. I’ve been able to make good amount of money. I’ve seen someone come from nothing to hitting 1M in just a period of 3months of consistency. Consistency in the business pays off hugely.
    It’s legal and legit.

It’s obvious you are trying to advertise your affiliate business by framing another business as scam.

Anyone who gets to meet this comment , Superlife is legit and it’s working for us . We are now doing it full time with our family as well. Never looked back again.

Too much analysis leads to paralysis and brokeness.

    • Just cause it works doesn’t mean it’s a good business to follow. If you know anything about multilevel marketing you’d know that most tend to push a mediocre product and realistically only those at the peak of the pyramid make the most whilst those just below tend to be left the Crumbs.

I push affiliate marketing not because I’m selling a product (I offer a lot of free material on this website afterall) but because it’s far less overbearing and cult like in comparison to the MLM model superlife World uses.

Besides you can technically spend nothing to start your website to make money via this business model, which has as much if not more potential than being an ambassador for superlife.

Wholeheartedly, I do think most tend to not follow through due to analysis paralysis however, superlife or MLM’s as a whole just aren’t worth, after all there’s a reason so many friendship’s and even families have been broken apart due to the pushy nature of companies like this one.
