PRODUCT NAME: Goodlife USA
OWNER/S: Mark Seyforth and Edward Dover
TYPE OF PRODUCT: travel based MLM
PRICE: $79 one time + $9.95/month (minimum)
SUMMARY: Goodlife is a neither a scam or pyramid scheme, it’s a legitimate MLM company however, it does have a quite a lot of problems such as the poor customer service and it being a MLM company, which ultimately does not make a it company I’d personally recommend you join.
The customer service issues makes it a fairly poor travel based company, which makes you wonder why exactly would anyone get discounts from Goodlife when companies that don’t require you to pay a membership fee can get you similar prices, if you look around that is.
So yeah, I guess in terms of convenience for customers, guaranteeing discounts may be a reason why you or anyone would join Goodlife but, if the major customer service problems might not make it the best company to do business with.
FINAL RATING: 1.5/5
RECOMMENDED: No
WHAT IS GOODLIFE USA?

Goodlife is a travel based MLM company founded in 2016 by Mark Seyforth and Edward Dover. You may even call Goodlife a “travel and lifestyle club” but, in general it is a travel based MLM, very similar to the likes of ,inteletravel, worldventures and even ibuumerang, in the sense they’re all MLM’s that focus on the travel niche.
Out of the 2 owners, Mark has the most experience in the MLM business scene. As for how Mark has experience with MLM’s, he started his own MLM company in 1975 called Seyforth Laboratories and many years later he even partnered up with a currently popular MLM called herbalife.
He was actually the individual responsible for creating Herbalife’s operational procedures and compensation plan. So it’s safe to say Mark understands how to set up such a business. In fact he still runs another MLM right now called One24 which once again adds to Marks credibility as an owner as least.
Nevertheless, I still don’t believe the MLM business in is a great opportunity to pursue but, in this case atleast the owners are somewhat competent however, this doesn’t guarantee the opportunity will be worth it for you.

GOODLIFE USA PRODUCTS
Goodlife don’t have any a tangible products besides their different membership options. The membership will allow individuals who join to receive discounts on traveling services, whether it be for flights or for hotels, they even extend beyond these 2 elements to cruises, rental cars and even for entertainment like sports etc.
The discounts seem to average around 25% but can be more and even less depending on when you decide to travel.
As for the different membership options, there are 2. These 2 are a starter and platinum membership.
Before there used to be 3 but, quite recently Goodlife decided to change the options available to only 2.
In the starter membership you’d need to pay the following amounts :
- One-time Setup Fee: $79
- Monthly Business Maintenance Fee: $9.95 per month
For the platinum membership you’d need to pay the following amounts :
- One-time Setup Fee: $379
- Monthly Subscription Fee: $49.95
- Monthly Business Maintenance Fee: $9.95 per month
The membership itself can be quite expensive but, in order to become a member who can also earn via the compensation plan, you’ll need also need to sign up for one of the company’s VIP cards.
There are a few different VIP cards you can choose from but, the platinum VIP card will provide you with the most incentives if that’s something of interest to you.
HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH GOODLIFE USA?
As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Goodlife being no exception.
1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales
2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
If you’re serious about this opportunity, you’ll really need to learn Goodlife’s compensation plan so, I’ll be going over it here briefly to provide you with a have rough idea on how you can earn with the company.
Firstly, in order to qualify to earn commissions (from your downline team specifically), you’d need to recruit atleast 2 people or have 20 customers who’ve purchased a VIP card.
As for how this downline works, its a 2×20 matrix. This means that each individual will be able to recruit 2 members and you’ll only be limited to earning up until the 20th level in your team.
Shared Social Network Commissions
From. The 2×20 structure, you’ll be eligible to earn from your downline. From the 1st to 15th level you’ll be eligible to earn a 5% commission from your team and from the 16th till 20th level, you’ll be eligible to earn a 2% commission.
However, a unique aspect to this type of residual income is that the commissions will be shared between your first 2 affiliates. This is because they’re technically regarded as your partners therefore, the 5% and even 2% commission will be split equally between the 3 of you.
Fast Start Bonus
This is a bonus where you’ll receive a commission if a customer purchases a product within a set period of time. Both members and normal customers can take advantage of this offer.
Rank Achievement Bonus
This is a bonus through which you can earn a set amount of money or even other rewards from Goodlife USA if you achieve a specific rank within Goodlife USA.
If you want a more in depth look at the plan, I’d suggest checking out the compensation plan by clicking here or you can watch the video below instead.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
There Are A Lot Of Complaints About The Company
On trustpilot there appear to many, many complaints being made about Goodlife, so much so that Goodlife actually stated becoming inactive on their Facebook page and probably other social media accounts because of them.
There are many people calling Goodlife out as being a scam where users felt they were kind of lied to. One particular customer felt they were scammed because they had to pay more money for their accommodation than what they were actually told they’d need to pay according to their receipt.

On BBB there are other issues where the VIP card suddenly become void for members without notice.

The last major issue individuals have had is regarding the difficulty in actually getting refunds.
All in all, it’s safe to say that Goodlife USA has a fair few problems associated with it and well, you’ve got to ask yourself if it’s worth joining the company when has some really big problems.
You Can Probably Find Better Deals On Other Sites
In a world where the internet is easily accessible, with the likes of Expedia, trivago and other essentially free to join travel discount websites, I don’t really see why it’d be worth purchasing products and travel vacations form Goodlife when you can literally do the same on these websites, sites that are a lot more trusted in the travel niche.
Yes you do have to pay a booking fee after purchasing a ticket but, considering they’re a lot more trustworthy than Goodlife, the booking fee is a small price to pay for a much better overall experience.
Most People Will Fail
Considering the fact that the main way to succeed with Goodlife is via recruitment, it only makes sense that the success rate is going to be abysmally small. This statement isn’t something I’ve made blindly, it’s after having seen many many different income disclosure statement.
Generally speaking only around 5% of affiliates make $1k/month whilst only 1% of all members a full time income.
Although this is more so an educated guess and not information I’ve gathered after checking out a statement issued by Goodlife themselves (mostly because they don’t show their members annual earnings), I’m pretty sure the results won’t be to different from what I’ve stated above.

THE GOOD THINGS
There’s not really anything I find to be great about Goodlife besides the potential for discounts and I guess Mark’s experience in the MLM field.

IS GOODLIFE USA A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?
Goodlife is a neither a scam or pyramid scheme, it’s a legitimate MLM company however, it does have a quite a lot of problems such as the poor customer service and it being a MLM company, which ultimately does not make a it company I’d personally recommend you join.
MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.
The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because
– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.
The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Goodlife, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Goodlife and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
