It’s likely that you have come across Farmasi through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.
Is Farmasi a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Farmasi review.
First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Farmasi. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.
To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Farmasi so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.
What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Farmasi that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.
PRODUCT NAME: Farmasi
OWNER/S: Dr C. Tuna (Deceased)
TYPE OF PRODUCT: beauty and cosmetics MLM
PRICE: $19.99 – $125
SUMMARY: The good news is that Farmasi is neither a pyramid scheme or a Scam, it’s a legitimate MLM company that is not only credible due to it being nearly 7 decades old but, is also a fairly affordable opportunity to join if you’re maybe interested in the compensation plan or products available.
However, there are a couple things that I don’t like about it, such as the fact recruitment is essentiall for success which is also the reason why the success rate for MLM’s and ultimately Farmasi won’t be all that good.
Therefore, I personally wouldn’t suggest Farmasi as your go to opportunity to make money with. Of course I also don’t think it’s a bad company to join either.
In fact, with the right training, training that teaches you how to recruit qualified individuals, you definitely can become successful so, if you want to learn how to do that, you should look into my #1 recommendation.
FINAL RATING: 3/5

WHAT IS FARMASI?

Farmasi is a beauty and cosmetics MLM company founded all the way back in 1950 by Dr. C. Tuna (who unfortunately passed away in 2017) and has continued to be relevant for well over 6 decades, which is without a doubt very impressive.
Regarding the MLM aspect of the company, Faramasi only adopted this structure in 2010 so technically it’s been a MLM establishment for just under a decade.
An interesting fact about the company is that it initially started off as a health, wellness and pharmaceutical manufacturer but over the years, they’ve changed up their game plan and delved into what the owner felt was more fitting for the company, to the extent where now Farmasi is a beauty and cosmetics based institution.
Another thing worth noting is that Farmasi is a massive company, it has around 3 million distributors, has well over 2k products. It also seems like they manufacture millions of pieces of products on a weekly basis too. Then again all of this makes complete sense considering Faramasi has had multiple decades to grow.

FARMASI PRODUCTS
As I just said above, Faramasi have literally has over 2000 products within their arsenal so, there’s no way I’ll be able to list them all here but, I will highlight a few categories just so you have a rough idea of what you’d be working with if you joined.
A few of the categories Farmasi has includes :
- Make up
- Personal care
- Dr C. Tuna line
- Fragrances
- Men
- Accessories
All of these categories are also divided into sub categories where for example the Dr C Tuna line is broken down into hair care, oral care, foot care etc.
As for the prices of the items, they’re not insanely expensive and from what I saw they range anywhere fro. $10 – $90 depending on what you want to buy. A majority of the time, they’ll cost around the $10 – $20 range though fragrances will cost a fair bit more than the average.
In the end of the day, Farmasi does have a huge library of products so it wouldn’t make sense if everything they sold was hella expensive that’s why I am pretty happy to see that the items sold aren’t going to cost an arm and leg to buy.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH FARMASI?
As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Farmasi being no exception.
1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales
2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.
HOW TO GET STARTED
If you want to join Farmasi there are a few steps you’ll need to take. The first step would be to find a sponsor to sign up under. After this you’ll need to purchase one of the 3 kits that Farmasi sell.
- Basic $19.99 Kit : This pack includes 4 bags (2 larger and 2 smaller), an opportunity catalogue, skincare guide, product catalogues and a website. You also get a 50% commission when you sell the products and a 50% discount when you personally buy Farmasi’s products .
- $49.99 Kit : Get everything found within the basic kit plus lash and eyebrow serum, mascara, eye liner, lipstick, lip liner, one cream eyeshadow, blush, tea tree oil serum and eye cream.
- $125 Kit : You get everything included in the previous 2 kits as well as makeup primer, BB cream, CC cream, 3D mascara, tea tree oil cream, calendula cream, deep hydration calendula cream, charcoal cleanser, Age Reversist moisturizer, aloe cream, detox peeling mask, firming peeling mask, garlic oil hair mask.
There aren’t any mandatory monthly fees or even yearly fees to remain active. Of course you likely will need to purchase more products in order to sell them once you run out but, as I said it isn’t mandatory.
All in all, Farmasi’s joining fees are actually pretty decent so I can’t knock them on completely overcharging potential affiliates unlike so many other MLM’s I’ve checked out (ariix, neora…)
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
If you’re genuinely serious about this opportunity, then it is essential that you learn the compensation plan or atleast some of the core money making elements of it. In this section I’ll briefly go over it to give you a rough idea on the structure of the company and how you can earn with it.
There are 9 different ranks within Farmasi. This starts from director rank all the way to the boss rank. This isn’t an insane number of ranks but it is still quite a lot. Afterall you will still need to be very good at recruiting in order to succeed with the company.
As for how many different elements there are to the compensation plan, they include the following :
- Retail Commissions : you’ll make a 50% commission on every product you personally sell
- Welcome Program: If you’re able to generate 200 PV (Personal Volume) per month during your first 4 months, Farmasi will give you products for free.
- Founders Club
- Team Building Program : For each active consultant that you personally recruit, you will earn $40 per month. An active consultant is an individual who sells $250 worth of products during (125PV).
- Personal Bonus : Depending on the GV (Group Volume) that you accumulate, you can earn different percentages of your monthly PV as a bonus. This bonus ranges from 3% upto 25%.
- Group Bonus
- Leadership Bonus
- Title Change Bonus : If you manage to achieve a specific rank and manage to maintain it for the month, you’ll be eligible for a title change bonus.
- Cash Bonus : Farmasi pays you this Cash Bonus when you reach the rank of Golden Director and higher
- World Discovery Program : You’ll be eligible for special travel programs if you reach the rank of Silver Director and higher.
As you can see, there are a fair few ways you can earn money with the company. Of course not all of them will be relevant to complete beginners but, eventually, if you rank up in the company every element of the plan will become relevant for you.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
Recruiting Is Essential For Success
The truth is that recruiting will play a huge part on whether you fail or succeed with the company. Retail sales in this case would barely make a dent considering they’re only around $10 – $20 so you’d need to sell 100 – 200 items in order to make a full time income.
This is why I believe recruitment will ultimately decide whether or not you’ll succeed within Farmasi, it seems that it is more or less the decider for every other MLM out there so it’s unsurprising that it’s the case for Farmasi too.
So, if you’re not good at face to face or online recruitment and, aren’t willing to learn the skill set, it’s unfortunate but it’s also very unlikely you’ll be able to make a full time income with the company.
Most People Will Fail
I couldn’t find an income disclosure statement regarding the earnings of the members however, they do provide a disclaimer stating that the average person makes $500 – $2000 a year as a consultant.

So the chances of success are pretty low, in fact having seen so many income statements over the last year, I’d say the disclaimer isn’t too far off.
I’ve found that only 5% of members tend to make decent income of around $1k/month whilst only the top 1% make around a full time income annually.
The numbers may be slightly better or worse for Farmasi however, I’m almost certain that the chances of succeeding are still very low and the disclaimer from the company definitely agrees with me.
THE GOOD THINGS
It’s Been Around A While
Having been around since 1950, Farmasi is among the oldest MLM’s I’ve reviewed. The age of the company definitely gives it a ton of credibility afterall, not just every company can grow to the extent where they have millions of people working with them worldwide.
The company’s numbers obviously don’t mean much for you personally however, it certainly makes the establishment a much more trustworthy party to work with.
It’s Not Too Expensive
The products they sell and the price to become a member are both actually very affordable, especially when compared to other MLM like max international, isagenix etc.
So, I can’t really knock Farmasi too much as it is a fairly affordable MLM to join.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.
The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because
– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.
The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Farmasi, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Farmasi and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
