It’s likely that you have come across Everra through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.
Is Everra a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Everra review.
First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Everra. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.
To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Everra so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.
What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Everra that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.
PRODUCT NAME: Everra
OWNER/S: Christopher Welch.
TYPE OF PRODUCT: beauty and cosmetics MLM
PRICE: $9 (till April 2020)
SUMMARY: Currently I don’t think Everra is a scam or a pyramid scheme as it is too early to tell considering it’s only just launched. Then again I also can’t wholeheartedly recommend you join it even at its $9 joining costs as it also has a its fair share of cons too.
These cons include the heavy emphasis on recruitment, the fact the company offers very expensive products in a very saturated market despite just jumping into the market and of course the really low success rate that is highly likely to be case for the majority of individuals (especially the ones joining later).
These are just a few reasons why I wouldn’t suggest joining this company
Besides if you did join Everra you’d be limiting the number of products you can sell to only 3, 3 products that aren’t even tested in the market.
FINAL RATING: 1.5/5
RECOMMENDED: No
WHAT IS EVERRA?

Everra is a fairly new MLM launched in early 2020 and is a beauty and cosmetics based company founded by the acting President, and CEO, Christopher Welch.
The cosmetics and beauty industry undoubtedly is a huge market to do business in and there are thousands of MLM’s companies like Avon, atomy, MaskCara and non MLM’s companies that attempt to compete for these customers so, Everra trying to grab a piece of this super competitive pie does put it at quite the disadvantage.
Christopher is actually a somewhat experienced MLM entrepreneur having worked for and even become the vice president of a company called Younique and after quitting there, in 2017 he started up his own beauty and MLM institute called Maelle.
Funnily enough that company was hit by a lawsuit from Younique which caused it to shut down for a bit and led to it relaunching later in April 2018.
In the end Maelle completely dropped the MLM side of things by November 2018 but, from what I can tell it still appears to be in operation selling beauty products.
After this Chris opened up another business called Naativ. Naativ was a platform designed to connect fluent english speakers with others wanting to learn english as a second language however, no one was using the platform and it inevitably never took off.
Unfortunately, there were members of the platform that did try to use it and they even taught students but, for some reason or another they were not paid their dues. This led to these members complaining and resulted in Chris and his people threatening to sue (which is definitely not a good look for him).
Naativ is still trying to dig itself out of the trenches but, Chris did step down from the role of CEO and currently is only an advisor for the company.
So his history is quite the mixed bag with Chris’ only real success being his stint with Younique as acting vice president. Other than that his history is pretty poor and his character isn’t the greatest too considering he actually threatened to sue Naativ members who were complaining about not getting paid.
Nevertheless, whether or not Everra on it’s own is worth it even with Chris’ failures, that’s something that hopefully I can help you decide upon throughout the rest of this review.

EVERRA PRODUCTS
At this moment there aren’t very many products on their website nevertheless, the items sold right now include :

- Eye Serum ($64) : This is described as being a powerful, targeted serum that has an aim to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness around the eye area.
- Face Serum ($69) : This serum uses a combination of powerful peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, apple stem cells and other active ingredients designed to improve a users overall skin condition whilst reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- InstaLast Serum ($39) : This is described as a dual-action, targeted serum with ingredients that provide an instant, visible reduction to the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to produce effective anti-aging results over an extend period of time.
The thing here is that there aren’t many individuals talking about their experiences with the Everra products and of course they’re not approved by any trusted institute (at least not as far as I could find) therefore, it definitely would be a good idea to approach using these 3 items with caution.
However, the fact there are only 3 items also shows that the company is probably more focused on the quality of items produced as opposed to offering a bunch of mediocre products (theoretically speaking).
On the other hand, 3 products is also a very limited number so you could argue both ways for whether the smaller number is good or bad.
Nevertheless, even if that is the case, needing to invest a minimum of $39 for a serum is quite an expensive amount of money to invest and will limit sales to some degree, unless Everra’s affiliates/influncers go out of their way in overhyping the true benefits of the items, which honestly isn’t something I would put past some affiliates.
HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH EVERRA?
As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Everra being no exception.
1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales
2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.
HOW TO GET STARTED
The joining fees appear to be extremely cheap at only $9 (till April 2020) so I can’t knock them on that front but, as is the case with every MLM out there, there’s a good chance you’d need to invest in a monthly autoship plan along with starter kits and other miscellaneous costs.
Nevertheless, the $9 joining fee is genuinely quite nice when taking into account the astronomical sums other MLM’s ask for upfront.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
There are 8 main elements to the compensation plan which include the following methods :
- Retail sales commissions between 25% – 30%
- Bonus on team sales
- Group bonus for business builders
- Rank promotion bonus
- Power seller monthly sales commission
- Fast Start sponsor bonus
- Generation bonus for business builders
- Matching bonus
The individual below explains the whole plan reasonably well and quite quickly so I’d suggest watching the video below to get a better idea.
You should also know that there are 12 different ranks an affiliate can achieve, which often implies that the company in question focuses quite heavily on recruitment, which honestly isn’t that surprising to me.
Do note that each rank will have its own set of criteria that will need to be accomplished, such as personal purchases, group sales and so on.
I actually couldn’t find any official documentation from Everra discussing the compensation along with the criteria for each affiliate rank, which is kind of a problem in my books but, what I’ve mentioned along with the video should give you a fairly rough idea on how the system actually works, if you were to follow through with the opportunity.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
Recruitment Seems To Be Heavily Pushed
Even before the MLM was launched influencers were trying to recruit others into the opportunity claiming it to be a great opportunity and that Chris is a great ambassador to follow along with it.
They even went out of their way to promote the opportunity before even a single product was launched so, it goes to show the initial push of the company was more so that newer individuals could get in early and build a team super early, build their teams up faster and start generating income quicker too.
I guess you could say retail sales can also be profitable considering the 25% – 30% commission rates however, the reality is you’d still need to sell a minimum of 150 – 300 products just to make a full time income in USA if that’s how you want to generate your full time income.
Recruitment on the other hand will pay you even when you’re not personally making sales as your members will generally be buying products on a regular basis anyways (if they remain active) so, the income earned will likely be on autopilot.
That’s why I always say and at this point know that the majority of individuals will not make anything worthwhile with Everra or any MLM for that matter unless they’re good at recruitment or are at the very least trying to get good at it.
It’s In An Over Saturated Market
As I mentioned earlier Everra is competing in a niche that’s highly competitive yet they are offering products that are very expensive for that niche as a new company.
These factors along with Chris’ previous issues all add to Everra not looking like a great company to promote. Then again it is being pushed quite a bit online so I do kind of see it going past the initial bumps on the road.
However, unless the people really like the products and Chris’ character evolves over the years, I can’t see why many individuals would buy into Everra over other more established brands in the long run.
Most People Will Fail
Even though at the writing of this review Everra has only just launched, I’m still pretty certain that the majority of individuals will fail and this is according to both the FTC and from the income statements I’ve seen from many different MLM’s, including beauty based ones.
I’ve found that generally around 5% of all members tend to make a decent income of around $1k/month whilst a much lower 1% of members tend to make a full time income.
In fact a lot of the time around 70 odd percent (if not more) of all members tend to not even breakeven, which goes to show how hard it is to succeed within the MLM scene unless you’re really great at recruitment.
THE GOOD THINGS
The only positives I can concretely state about the company is that the joining fee is quite small so it’s an easy MLM to initially join whilst Chris’ experience of working within the MLM industry, more specifically the beauty niche, is somewhat of a positive although this can just as easily be used against him as many have also called Chris out as a scammer.

IS EVERRA A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?
Currently I don’t think Everra is a scam or a pyramid scheme as it is too early to tell considering it’s only just launched.
Instead I’d recommend looking into affiliate marketing as it actually allows you to promote any beauty product or just anything in general that you want without all of the loose ends associated with MLM’s, provided you follow effective training.
My personal recommendation is obviously the course that I would suggest you look into but, in the end of the day the decision is yours to make and who knows, Everra could potentially work out for you even if the chances are super duper slim.
MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.
The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because
– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.
The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Everra, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Everra and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
