Is AIM Global A Scam?(A Pyramid Scheme In Disguise!?)

It’s likely that you have come across AIM Global through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is AIM Global a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this AIM Global review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining AIM Global. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of AIM Global so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at AIM Global that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: AIM Global

OWNER/S: Dr. Eduardo Cabantog, Francis Miguel and John Asperin

TYPE OF PRODUCT: health and wellness MLM

PRICE: $260+

SUMMARY: The good news is that AIM, as far as I could find, isn’t a scam or a pyramid scheme. In fact I’d go as far as to saying it’s a legitimate MLM company, and the longevity of the company definitely solidifies this point in my eyes.

However, as it is an MLM this does mean you’ll need to recruit a lot and although I can’t, with certainty, state that you will fail as a member (mostly due to it being hard to find a income disclosure statement), through my educated guess and after seeing tens of different MLM income disclosure statements, there probably a less than 5% chance you’ll be making $1k+ a month.

Now, I’m not going to say you shouldn’t join because if you’re completely sold on it I won’t stop you but, keep in mind that without solid training (as far I could find) success is going to be very hard. So, at the very least this is something you should consider finding before becoming an AIM distributor.

FINAL RATING: 2/5

WHAT IS AIM GLOBAL?

Aim global logo

AIM Global aka Alliance in Motion Global is another health and wellness company that sell nutrtional supplements. The company was founded in 2005 by Dr. Eduardo Cabantog, Francis Miguel and John Asperin. The company is based in the Philippines but the products are actually manufactured and produced by Nature’s Way USA.

AIM primarily targets third world countries like Nigeria, Cameroon, of course the Philippines in terms of offering them the opportunity to earn through the compensation plan on offer. They also operate in the UAE, and few other more developed countries, which means they’re not completely trying to prey on individuals with a really low financial standing only.

Nevertheless, people from these countries are going to be very tempted and truthfully the majority will be left wondering why they joined and put themselves in a worse of situation then they were in before (I’ll explain why I say this a little later).

AIM does have a mission much like other MLM’s with its one being split into 3 core components :

  • Empower distributors to achieve economic progress by providing them with a catalyst to becoming financially independent.
  • Improve peoples’ lives through revolutionary products and services.
  • Promote a passion for life, service and prosperity.

These are some standard goals so I’m not necessarily impressed by them. In fact even with the goals and their longevity, the thing that concerns me the most regarding the company is the competition that AIM has.

Yhe health and wellness niche is insanely saturated at this point, with competition coming from trevo, elepreneurs, javita, revital U etc so, to try and convince someone to buy from yet another company isn’t going to be all that easy of that makes semso.

Then again the fact AIM is still around after almost 15 years in business does kind of separate it from your average company so, maybe there could be case as to why it’s worth working within AIM as opposed to the other MLM’s I mentioned above.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH AIM GLOBAL?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, AIM being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

To become a members of AIM you will need to purchase a starter pack, the lowest of which starts at $260. Within it you’ll be given a few resources such as a business kit which should have a lot useful tools as well as your AIM Global website.

The other thing you’ll need to do is fill out a form to receive your AIM ATM card, which is going to be another expense on top of the kit.

Within the business kit, AIM provides you with some informational documents such as a folder with marketing collateral, video presentation CD, an ATM application form, a scholarship certificate, insurance certificate, and an ID application form.

Furthermore, by purchasing this package you’ll also get access to a 25% discount on all products, a personal accident insurance, as well as coverage for a medical checkup. Lastly, in order to become a member you’ll need to sign up through a sponsor so make sure you do that or find someone to do that through if you’re interested.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

AIM’s compensation plan is decently big with 5 different ways you can make money with it but, before that I want cover the numerous ranks you can achieve as a member.

  • Distributor
  • Silver Executive
  • Gold Executive
  • Global Ambassador
  • Ruby Global Ambassador
  • Diamond Global Ambassador

To be fair to Aim, the number of different ranks within their company isn’t so vast as to confuse the life out of most members however, with a smaller number of ranks it also does kinda imply that reaching the top top rank isn’t going to be very easy a search rank is likely to have astronomically harder requirements to achieve.

Anyways, as for what the different elements of the compensation plan are, they include :

  • Retail Profits : This is the money you’ll make by selling the products that you purchase from AIM and sell it at a higher price whilst keeping the difference as profit. It works like a wholesale and retail price difference so, if a product is $20 at its wholesale price, what you’d need to do is sell that product at $30 and keep the $10 difference as profit.
  • Recruitment Commissions : For every ondividual you recruit within your downline, AIM will pay you ₱1000 ($19.45 USD).
  • Residual Commissions (Binary) : This will be one of the primary ways to make money with AIM and it of course will require a fair bit of skill on your part to be successful at. In order to qualify for this commission, whenever you recruit 2 members and when your recruits do the same and so on, you’ll be eligible for a payout of  ₱2000 PHP ($38.90 USD) residual commission, which is classified as a match. Binary residual commissions are capped at sixteen matches daily (₱32,000 PHP or $622.40 USD).
  • Unilevel Recruitment Commissons : AIM also has a Unilevel commission which is capped at level ten. These commissions are paid out when a downline member across these ten levels purchase the company’s products. The commissions are then paid out as so, Distributor – no residual unilevel commissions, Silver Executive – 10%, Gold Executive – 20%, Global Ambassador – 30%, Ruby Global Ambassador – 35% and Diamond Global Ambassador – 40%. Higher ranked members are also able to earn the difference between their rank and lower ranks of their downlines, up until the complete 40% has been paid out on generated volume.
  • Travel Incentives : Every fifth binary team commission paid out generates “travel points”. AIM’s compensation plan states travel points can be used toward “free travel incentives.”

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

You Need To Be Very Good At Recutiment To Succeed

This is just how running a MLM business is, you need to understand how to recruit people and lots of it at that. I’m not talking about coaxing some of your close family or friends to join (this is what is normally reccomended by MLM companies) and they basically join because they want to help you out. kind of out of pity.

In most scenarios the family and friend whom joined through you won’t really do very well because it wasn’t initially something they were actively trying to do. A lot of the times them joining under you can even strain relationships between yourself and them.

Basically what I’m trying to say that is ideally you’d like someone who’s genuinely interested in the opportunity that AIM offers, to join and not someone who does out of pity. And basically doing this is going to be very hard for most.

This means you’ll need to develop a system where you can filter out your reach to only people who are interested (maybe through a website or fan page) or play a numbers game like messaging thousands of people through an automated bot to hopefully hit a few home runs where a genuinely interested person shows up.

Once again, as I’m sure you’ve gathered, this is a lot easier said than done!

If you’ve done any kind of research on MLM’s in the past or even participated in a MLM previously you’ll know how difficult it is. That’s why unless you’re very good at recruiting and dealing with rejection or aren’t willing to put tens to hundreds of hours building systems that generate you interested prospects on autopilot, I doubt that this company will be for you.

The Training Provided For Members Is Quite Limited

Membera have found the training provided to be lackluster so, you’ll probably need to consider looking into a good training program to achieve the best results as a distributor. (like maybe this one if you wnag want to learn how to build organic lead generation traffic)

Most People Are Likely To Fail

I couldn’t find a income disclosure statement on AIM however, if I were to take a somewhat educated guess on the results most people will see with the MLM, I’d say the chances of success are very very bleak.

Companies like Rodan + fields, ariix, xyngular all show how the chances of making anything stands within the 5%( this is around the $1k per month) range whilst only the top 1% make $2k+ per month (full time income).

This outlines roughly how AIM will be for you so joining isn’t likely to be as profitable as you may have initially thought.

THE GOOD THINGS

It”s Been Around A While

The fact the company has been around for as long as it has, nearly 15 years at this point, is testament to the perseverance of the establishment and AIM as a whole. It’s something that I completely respect.

Of course this doesn’t mean I’m for people joining it but, it definitely adds a lot more credibility to the MLM over newer MLM companies in the market that haven’t yet proven themselves as legitimate legal entities.

IS AIM GLOBAL A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

The good news is that AIM, as far as I could find, isn’t a scam or a pyramid scheme.

So, at the very least this is something you should consider finding before becoming an AIM distributor.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding AIM , feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about AIM and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments.

Thanks
