PRODUCT NAME: Serious Bloggers Only

OWNER/S: Jon Morrow

TYPE OF PRODUCT: Blogging Training Course

PRICE: $49/month

SUMMARY: Serious Bloggers Only is a solid course on teaching you how to get started with a blog and grow it, eventually to a level where you’ll be able to make money through it. It has a solid course which is created by a very successful blogger.

The only problems you’ll face are that maybe at $49 everymonth it could add up to be quite expensive If you decide to remain a member for a long period of time and that it will require a lot of upfront work, possibly spanning months if not years to see the results you’re seeking.

Besides this minor gripe, SBO is a great course and may be worth a try. However, if you want a better deal with more features along with training resources on the same level as SBO if not higher, I’d definetly just suggest going for my #1 recommendation instead.

RECOMMENDED: Yes (but there is a better option)

Serious Bloggers only, as you might have guessed is a course designed by Jon Marrow to obviously teach you how to profit by blogging but, as the name insinuates, only for those who are serious in actually using the training provided.

Jon marrow is a fairly accomplished blogger which is why the knowledge he aims to spread through this course shouldn’t really be anything out of touch with what’s actually working.

So simply put, it’s a course for newbie bloggers.

The members area isn’t too expensive at $49/month although I can’t say it’s necessarily cheap either, anyways, the members area does come packed with it’s fair share of information which includes the following :

It outlines the basic elements of blogging which includes content writing training, training on getting traffic and how to successfully blog in general, the training provided to help with basic elements include the following :

  • Finding and creating impressive images
  • Build your online home
  • How to build your funnel no matter where your starting
  • The product pricing formula
  • Make mouth watering offers
  • The foolproof formula for attention grabbing headlines
  • How to create an irresistible opt-in page
  • Viral infographics
  • Credibility kickstarter
  • Social Espionage
  • The motivation manifesto
  • The blogging breakthrough
  • Getting paid
  • The egobait handbook
  • Traffic on demand
  • Become a writing machine
  • The ultimate blog design makeover
  • SEO 101
  • The List post handbook
  • Finding the perfect domain name
  • Your first $1000 per month
  • Creating credibility
  • Income on autopilot
  • Blog traffic 101
  • The six figure road map

You’ll also be provided with more information on how Jon managed to make his blog generate 200 million in traffic and how he managed to accumulate $50 million in revenue.

Just looking at everything on offer (there are actually around 26 courses) you’ve got to agree that Jon does provide quite a lot of value in this package and it should also be mentioned that he has a forum in which you can ask questions amongst the community, which is a nice touch.

The forum is actually very active and it does a lot in helping out newbies within the community who might be struggling with things or just want an opinion on certain topics.

Most courses don’t have this kind of resource which goes the extra mile and really adds a lot of value to its buyers so, it’s nice to see that SBO really does want for their customers to have more value than just the basic guides.

In my opinion, at least from what I can see, it seems like Jon really is nailing quite a lot of what’s necessary to get good with blogging as well as methods to eventually convert your blog.

However, as I’m actually not a member of SBO i can’t really speak for its quality (although I do have knowledge on this topic) therfore, I did a little research to see what others think of the program and this is what I found.

The general consensus on SBO is that the information and value it provides is actually very good, it covers the fundamentals of blogging very well as well as provides some other more diverse and useful techniques to implement in order to better your results

Howtomakehonestmoneyonline said that the content is excellent and every resource within SBO is vey helpful. This is from a guy who knows what he’s talking about and who’s been successful blogger for years now so it’s worth taking his word for what it is in my opinion

Theaffiliatelifestyle felt that the content and resources provided as a whole were pretty good also.

Most other members of SBO also felt that the training and resources on offer were pretty top notch and to be honest with you, I personally don’t really doubt them.

The fact that Jon Marrow is a very respected individual within the blogging industry definitely does catapult the influence of SBO in my books and thankfully, SBO isn’t really a dud like so many courses are, it’s a genuinely good resource to learn how to blog from.

So as far as I can make out from people who’ve dug into it, it is something that will provide you with a lot of the value which you may or may not have been looking for.

This course is for pretty much anyone who’s thinking about getting into blogging, not just to dabble in but to really attack the blogging model and turn it into more than just a side hustle.

It’s not just another “another shiny object” that you try out for a week and leave, it’s something you have got to put in work in order to achieve the results you want.

From what I know about SBO, it provides all the fundamentals and basics for a newbie blogger to learn from whilst it also has its fair share of golden nuggets for a more advanced blogger to take as well.

I’d say that the course is for anyone who’s actually serious to take the training on board and willing to put in the work to become, as the courses name would suggest, a serious blogger.

If you’re not up for working and in turn writing a lot of content, it’s probably not worth your time investing in SBO.

Doesn’t Offer A Cheaper Yearly Plan

Considering that the course has a monthly plan, you’d think that there actually would be a yearly plan also. Well not quite. At the $49 you’ll be looking to invest $600 within a years time and if you’re serious about blogging, it’s likely going to take you at least that long to get to a decent level.

So, to me, it’d make a lot of sense if SBO actually had like a yearly option at 60-70% of the yearly price in monthly payments. It’s definetly not a deal breaker as for the value you’re paying for is actually great but, a cheaper yearly fee does seem like a more logical approach to a community based course like SBO.

It’s Not Easy…

Blogging can certainly be lucrative, look at pat flyn, Neil Patel, Michelle from making sense of cents and you’ll see that it’s possible to make astoranomical amounts of money blogging.

However, I think it’s pretty important to state that the amount of work they put in early on probably only started bearing the fruits of their labour a year or 2 into working on their blog.

Of course it’s possible to make your blog grow faster if you’re willing to invest in paid ads or if you already have a social media or large email list that follow or subscribe to you who you can direct to your blog but, for most of you who don’t already have some kind of audience or the extra income to invest, blogging will require you to WORK A LOT!

You can definetly work less if you want and it’s even fine to do so if you’re not in a very competitive niche, but say you want to get in a more competitive blog like the making money, fitness or gaming niche, I’m telling you now, if you want to achieve your goals as soon as you can, you’ve got to write blogs daily if not at least once every 2 days.

If you’re willing to put in the work, I’ve no doubt the training provided in SBO should be very useful.

Great Course

The course is great and does offer a lot of great content for the beginner and even in some cases the advanced bloggers. It will teach you the basics of ranking in Google using SEO tactics, how to write great blogs and everything really to get you started with.

It also has the seal of approval from multiple other successful bloggers and from what I’ve researched on it, it doesn’t seem like it cuts too many corners in the training. Of course it’s unlikely it has everything but, there’s no denying that it does have a quite a lot of value to offer.

A Fairly Affordable Price

$49 a month in some cases may seem like a lot of money to pay, technically you could just write notes on all of the content and just cancel your membership afterwards.

Nevertheless, even if you do decide to stay, considering everything on offer such as the active community and the plethora of useful actionable information on blogging, even if you do decide to stay for a few months or even a year, the value that you’re getting is more than likely going to be worth it.

I do think that there is a course that costs the same yet is a better overall package but, to me, the $49 is fairly affordable.

Backed By A Very Successful Blogger

The creator of this course is a pretty accomplished blogger so the knowledge that he’ll provide is unlikely to be horrible right?

He’s accomplished a lot in this field so his backing is definitely a good thing. He also has a monthly 1 hour webinar which might be another reason as to why SBO is a good platform.

Has A Community Forum In Place

A community forum means that you’ll always be able to find support and help from the SBO community if you ever get stuck. It’s definitely a nice thing to have but, do keep in mind that because it’s a forum you’re probably not going to get answers as immediately as a live chat would offer.

Nonetheless, it’s a nice addition to the program.

No Serious Bloggers Only is not a scam, it is a very solid course to teach newbies and advance members alike how to make money online through the art of blogging.

It’s definitely better than some other course I’ve reveiwed like Velocitii, snowball profits, Online Profit System even affiliate buyers blueprint.

The only real shortcoming, if you’ll call it that, is the lack of a cheaper yearly plan to purchase over paying 49 bucks everymonth.

The other problem, which isn’t a problem but just the nature of this business, is the amount of work you’ll likely have to put in before seeing results but, this point will be the difference between go getters and an individual stuck in the mud

Besides these two points there’s not really much else negative about the course, the price is more or less a toss up but, there’s not much doubt in my mind that the methods being taught in SBO aren’t able to help you achieve the goals you’re after.

It is definetly a great course and if not for my #1 recommendation, it’s probably worth purchasing but because of my personal recommendation, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend it.

SBO is definitely a course worth joining however, the product I recommend is equally as dense with information on blogging, if not more so, it delves into a very profitable Internet marketing area known as affiliate marketing and also has a multitude of other features included in it like:

  • Livechat
  • Weekly Webinar Training
  • A Massive Community
  • A Keyword Research Tool
  • Hosting Included
  • And it uses affiliate marketing whi is a great business model for the online space in my opinion

This whole package either comes at $19 for the first month and $49 afterwards or $359 for the year, it works out to be a lot cheaper than SBO if you go premium.

But, the really great thing about my #1 recommendation is that it’s actually free to join, no credit card details necessary at all until you decide to go premium. This free membership will provide you with 2 free subdomain websites, 20 free lessons, access to certain areas of the community and 7 days access to the live chat.

If you’re interested in joining..
