Lifestyle Marketing Group Review (Another Overhyped Scam?!)

It’s likely that you have come across Lifestyle Marketing Group through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Lifestyle Marketing Group a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Lifestyle Marketing Group review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Lifestyle Marketing Group. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Lifestyle Marketing Group so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Lifestyle Marketing Group that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Lifestyle Marketing Group (LMG)

OWNER/S: Shain Hymon

TYPE OF PRODUCT: ecommerce MLM

PRICE: $75 +$50/month

SUMMARY: Based of the information I’ve found about the company, I don’t think it’d be too hard to consider Lifestyle Marketing Group as both a pyramid scheme or a scam.

This is because the whole business model is relaint on affiliates recruiting other affiliates whilst offering valueless products. This recruitment model is reminiscent of a ponzi scheme because when recruitment stops the company would likely collapse, which is why I’d personally suggest you avoid LMG.

FINAL RATING: 1/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS LIFESTYLE MARKETING GROUP?

Lifestyle Marketing Group logo

Lifestyle Marketing Group is a MLM company that focuses on the ecommerce side of online business and was founded by CEO Shain Hymon. The company is currently situated in California.

The official website, namely lmg50.com, was registered in April 2019 but at the writing of this article the company is yet to launch. Before starting up LMG, Shain was previously involved with another MLM called Javita and used to promote a somewhat pyramid scheme like entity called the Perfect Solution.

On top of this it seems like he is still part of another entity called Jaa Lifestyle. LMG has a very simple mission statement which states that they want to help create financial freedom for its members.

So, from what I’ve observed the founder does come across as a little shady but, whether or not LMG as a whole is bad, that’s something I can hopefully help you reach a conclusion on throughout the rest of the review. .

LIFESTYLE MARKETING GROUP PRODUCTS

LMG does not offer any kind of retail products for non affiliate members within their website that are confirmed nevertheless, they do claim to offer the following services :

  • health and fitness app; and
  • crypto wallet and exchange

They do offer marketing services via a $150 Starter Pack and a $50/month in house advertising service.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH LIFESTYLE MARKETING GROUP ?

There are 2 ways to make money with LMG :

1. The first method is by recruiting others and earning residual income.

2. The second method is by becoming a founder member and earning a percentage from the money found within the bonus pool.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to join LMG it will set you back $75 for the membership and then a further $50/month thereafter.

You can also purchase the optional $150 starter kit if you want a kickstart with the business opportunity.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

There are a few different ways to make money with LMG, which is what I’ll be breaking down in this section of the review.

Subscription Bonus

LMG pays its affiliates residual subscription income based on the structure of a unilevel system. This means that an affiliate will be eligible to earn infinitely from recruiting individuals horizontally but vertically the earnings are capped. In this case the cap occurs on the 7th level.

Each recruit who’s within the unilevel structure and an active member paying the $50/month will make an affiliate $1.

There are further bonuses that come along with this every time an affiliate brings in $250 worth of subscriptions which in turn will allow for an extra $1 residual income.

If an affiliate recruits individuals who bring in $500 worth of subscriptions in a month, they’ll receive a extra $3  in total.

Founders Bonus

First of all anyone who buys into the $75 affiliate membership will be referred to as founders. The bonus then takes $5 out of the $50 monthly subscription and places the funds into a founders pool, which is then shared with the founders at the end of any given month.

Matrix Commissions

$5 is taken out of the monthly subscription and contributed towards matrix commissions.

The matrix used here is a 5 x 5 which simply means every affiliate within your team including yourself will be able to recruit 5 individuals each and earn until the 5th level of the structure.

Other than this bit of information on this specific bonus, the payment structures aren’t specifically disclosed by LMG at the writing of this review.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

The Whole Opportunity Is Reliant On Recruitment

In order to succeed with LMG it seems that you’ll basically need to recruit as many individuals as possible and this is made clearer by the fact pretty much all of the money making methods they display are as result of you recruiting someone else and not through selling customers high quality marketing equipments or services.

The fact that you essentially pay $50/month for more or less nothing of value leads me to believe that the LMG business opportunity as of now is operating as a ponzi scheme.

I’m sure this can be fixed if Shain were to provide actual valuable services and transition somewhat to a more retail focused MLM like structure but, the fact it is currently super reliant on recruitment for success is a red flag.

The Products Offered Are Lackluster

The products offered are pretty poor considering the mandatory $50/month fee. They also don’t seem to offer any retail products for non affiliate customers too which is actually a major red flag as the FTC deem this factor as a feature of pyramid schemes.

THE GOOD THINGS

I honestly don’t think there’s anything good to say about LMG.

IS LIFESTYLE MARKETING GROUP A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

Based of the information I’ve found about the company, I don’t think it’d be too hard to consider Lifestyle Marketing Group as both a pyramid scheme or a scam.

This is because the whole business model is relaint on affiliates recruiting other affiliates whilst offering valueless products. This recruitment model is reminiscent of a ponzi scheme because when recruitment stops the company would likely collapse, which is why I’d personally suggest you avoid LMG.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
