Active Coin Trade Review (An Actively Fraudulent Scam?!)

It’s likely that you have come across Active Coin Trade through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Active Coin Trade a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Active Coin Trade review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Active Coin Trade. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Active Coin Trade so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Active Coin Trade that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Active Coin Trade (ACT)

OWNER/S: “Mark Gunton”

TYPE OF PRODUCT: investment MLM

PRICE: $300 minimum

SUMMARY: Yes, I do believe that Active Coin Trade is a both a pyramid scheme and a scam.

There are quite a few definitive reasons why I say this which includes the fact recruitment is essential to find success within the company as well as allowing it to remain afloat, the owners being fake names and images from other individuals is another red flag and of course the fact it deals in securities yet isn’t registered with its local governing body is another huge red flag too.

In short ACT is not a legitimate entity and one that I would not suggest anyone waste their time on because frankly speaking it is a full on pyramid scheme.

FINAL RATING: 0/5

RECOMMENDED: NO!!

WHAT IS ACTIVE COIN TRADE?

Active Coin Trade

Active Coin Trade appears to be an investment based MLM opportunity where supposedly you’re able to make upto a 300% profit depending on the package you decide to buy in at.

There’s also information about the company being around since 2013 although the website activecointrade.com was registered in November 2019 so this point doesn’t really add up.

Moreover, the owners seem to be fake too because with a little bit of research I managed to find out, specifically that Jennifer Chapman for one isn’t even the real name of that vice president.

There are also a bunch of other inconsistencies such as them supposedly being a part of cooperative bank (which is a UK bank) whilst also simultaneously claiming to be with Wells Fargo too (an huge American bank).

In short the information provided regarding their trading and investment options seem to come as not all that genuine.

Another thing worth noting is that ACT is linked to Ebico Investment & Trade Limited in order to come across as more legitimate however, that company has been dissolved since March 2020 so once again that doesn’t really make much sense.

On top of this, the lack of a mobile friendly website is a big issue too considering how that’s the norm nowadays.

ACTIVE COIN TRADE PRODUCTS

ACT does not offer or sell retail products to non affiliate customers, which is actually one of the more common characteristics of pyramid schemes, at least according to governing bodies like the FTC.

So, ACT only allowing affiliates to try out the opportunity without offering any retailable products is a pretty big red flag.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH ACTIVE COIN TRADE?

There are 2 ways to make money with ACT :

1. The first method is by the return on your investments.

2. The second way is by recruiting others inro your downline team.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Joining the site is technically free however, in order to participate in the income opportunity you’d need to be willing to invest a minimum of $300 for the lowest basic package or $10k minimum for the top tier VIP Package.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

The two ways you can earn money with ACT is either via the supposed returns on your investments and through recruitment.

In regards to the investment returns, ACT claim you can earn the following :

  • Basic – invest $300 or more and receive 135% over 7 days
  • Standard – invest $500 or more and receive 150% over 30 days
  • Professional – invest $2500 to $7500 and receive a 3% to 9% daily return “forever”
  • VIP – invest $10,000 or more and receive a 300% return over 30 days

As for how the recruitment commissions work, it utilises a unilevel structure that goes down 2 levels deep. As for the percentage of the funds that an affiliate can receive as a result of this structure, it includes the following amounts :

  • 8% on level 1
  • 5% on level 2

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

The Whole Business Is Reliant On Recruiting

These kind of businesses tend to be heavily reliant on recruitment in order to make money and in order to just simply keep the business afloat.

What this implies is that once recruitment stops so will the company as a whole. This type of model is what can be referred to as a ponzi scheme and well, you don’t need me to tell you twice that this is a huge red flag.

The Owners Are Fake

The leaders of ACT aren’t even real because with bit of research its fairly easy to find that the images and the names they’re using are false.

Obviously this implies that the owners are actively trying to avoid being associated with ACT as they probably know it’s a ponzi scheme designed to essentially scam people.

They’re Committing Securities Fraud

The fact that ACT deals with the securities of others yet isn’t officially recognised as legitimate by a securities governing body, which in this case is the UK’s FCA, means that the company is technically acting illegally.

It should go without saying why this point is a major red flag.

THE GOOD THINGS

There are no good things I could find out about ACT which says more than enough regarding how I feel about the company.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding ACT, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about ACT and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
