Is Vida Divina A Scam?(A Possible Pyramid Scheme?!)

It’s likely that you have come across Vida Divina through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Vida Divina a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Vida Divina review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Vida Divina. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Vida Divina so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Vida Divina that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Vida Divina (VD)

OWNER/S: Armand Puyolt

TYPE OF PRODUCT: Health and wellness MLM

PRICE: $135 + autoship

SUMMARY: VD does not appear to be a pyramid scheme or a scam, as far as I could find that is but, this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have the right characteristics to make it worthy of joining.

The heavy emphasis on the recruitment, the pretty expensive maintenance costs of $1k+ due to the autoship plan and the really low success rate according to VD’s income disclaimer, makes it hard to recommend this as a great business opportunity to pursue as not only is it going to be difficult to succeed in but, it’s quite expensive the expensive investment on top.

FINAL RATING: 1.5/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS VIDA DIVINA?

Vida divina logo

Vida divina logo

Vida Divina is a MLM company founded in 2016 by Armand Puyolt. Dr. Esther Ramos on the other hand is the individual who developed the company’s flagship product, TeDivina Detox Tea. All in all though, the establishment focuses primarily on the health and wellness niche.

I’ve actually reviewed my fair share of MLM’s within this niche from PM international, Truvision, Trivita and way way more. In fact this particular niche is insanely popular so, the fact another one in the form of VD is in the market means it’ll be even harder to find success considering the stiff competition from the more credible MLM’s .

As for where VD is located, it’s another United States based company situated in Ontario, California

VIDA DIVINA PRODUCTS

VD have a large variety of products within their line up.

Some of their products and different categories include the following :

  • TeDivina Detox Tea : This is the company’s flagship product and it contains herbs that help detoxify your mind and body, it does not contain caffeine and one pack is able to create a gallon of tea which makes it pretty solid in terms of its value.
  • Cafe Divina : This is VD’s cafe line and consists of beverages like Black Coffee, Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate, Hazelnut Latte, and Latte and few others.
  • Lean : This is a meal replacement shake that consists of multiple different flavours such as vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.
  • Supplements : This line is very expansive so I won’t be listing them all here but, there are many items here that help with weight loss, help with clearing your mind, help with the immune system and much more.
  • Vida Essentials : This line consists of the company’s beauty and skin care foundations and oils.
  • Gano Bites : This is simply a line consisting of treats for your pet that aims to help it become healthier.

HOW DO YO MAKE MONEY WITH VIDA DIVINA?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, VD being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to join VD, you’ll firstly need to sign up under an already existing member and then purchase one of their 4 starter kits.

These kits range from a reasonable price of $135 for the Basic pack to as much as $1360 for VD’s most expensive Vida Divina Supreme package.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

The compensation plan is easily the most important document that anyone serious about joining VD should read up on. I won’t be going over it in complete detail within this section of the review but, I will cover enough so that you have a rough idea on how to earn with the company.

Firstly you should know that VD has 15 different ranks which will also determine how much money you’ll be able to earn within VD. This implies that you’ll need to recruit a lot in order to find success within VD so, do keep this ranking system in mind before pursuing the opportunity

Retail Commissions

The first way to make money with VD is by selling their products personally. You can do this through the replicated website that is given to you. Although I couldn’t find the actual commission rate, I’d assume it to be roughly 20%.

Recruitment Commissions

These are commissions you’ll earn when one of your personal recruits purchases one of the 4 starter kits. Of course the amount you’ll make will be dependant on which pack your personal recruit purchases, with the commission rates ranging accordingly.

At a lower rank you’ll be able to make 50% of how much the starter kit is worth whilst it can go up to 70% when you reach the Crown Diamond rank.

Residual Commissions

VD uses a binary structure to allow individuals to earn residually through recruits. This means that each affiliate will be able to recruit 2 members each for the left and right leg and this pattern continues downwards for an infinite number of levels.

You should also note that in order to qualify for this type of commission, an affiliate will need to maintain a monthly PV of 120, which will equate to roughly $100, making the whole opportunity a lot more expensive to join if you plan on earning from the compensation plan.

These are the 3 main ways to earn with VD but, there are also other various bonuses VD offer such as a presenter bonus, lifestyle rewards, check match bonus, rank achievement bonus and a rank achievement bonus.

If you still want to gather more detail on these other elements, I suggest clicking here or watching the video below.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Recruitment Will Play A Huge Part In How Successful You’ll Be

The fact of the matter is that VD affiliates will need to be great at recruitment in order to succeed. This is very obvious in the compensation plan especially when you see that there are 15 different ranks one can achieve and with the really high commission rates when recruiting others into your downline team.

Of course it’s not impossible to make a full time income through direct sales alone but, the chances of succeeding with recruitment is a lot better than through direct sales purely because in this way not only will you make more money but, you’ll also be making money on autopilot, eventually not needing to work as hard over time.

I personally do not like this recruitment business model but, it’s just how it is. Nevertheless, if you want to succeed with VD, you will need to be great at recruitment already or be willing to invest time and money on training to get good at it otherwise, you should probably skip it.

Most People Will Not Succeed

Although I couldn’t find a income disclosure statement discussing how much money VD affiliates are making, having seen many income statements from other similar MLM’s and even from a income disclaimer directly issues by VD, leads to me believe the majority of individuals will fail.

On their income disclaimer VD state that on average their members are making between $500 – $2000, which obviously isn’t great.

This basically means the majority of members won’t even make a decent sized income with VD and when compared to what I’ve seen on the many income statements from other MLM’s, it’s pretty accurate.

In fact I’ve found that in general terms 5% of affiliates tend to make $1k/month whilst generally only 1% of all affiliates seem to make $2k+/month.

This isn’t to say VD affiliates aren’t doing better than the numbers I’ve found to be the norm however, i highly doubt they’d be much different considering the lack of transparency on their income disclosure statements.

THE GOOD THINGS

It has a very large library of products and a pretty solid BBB rating of A+ but, the company itself doesn’t seem to have very many stand out features, at least not from what I could find.

That’s why to me it seems like VD is just your average generic health and wellness MLM.

IS VIDA DIVINA A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

VD does not appear to be a pyramid scheme or a scam, as far as I could find that is but, this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have the right characteristics to make it worthy of joining.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding VD,  feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about VD and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
