It’s likely that you have come across Emris International through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.
Is Emris International a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Emris International review.
First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Emris International. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.
To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Emris International so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.
What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Emris International that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.
PRODUCT NAME: Emris International
OWNER/S: Aspen Emry (CEO), Ilean Harris (CSO) and Matthew Harris (CVO).
TYPE OF PRODUCT: health and wellness MLM
PRICE: $49 + $35/year
SUMMARY: No, Emris International is neither a pyramid scheme or a scam but this doesn’t mean I’d go out of my way to recommend it.
Even though the company’s image is nice (in my opinion) and that the founders have experience within the MLM scene, the fact recruitment is pretty crucial for success along with the generally abysmal chances of success within the company are the 2 main reasons why I’d suggest not joining.
Of course if you’re still convinced the opportunity offered by Emris is to your liking, it’s far from the worst MLM I’ve checked out and definitely far from the worst opportunity you could join.
FINAL RATING: 2.5/5

WHAT IS EMRIS INTERNATIONAL?
Emris International is a CBD/weight loss based MLM company founded and launched in 2019 by co-founders Aspen Emry (CEO), Ilean Harris (CSO) and Matthew Harris (CVO).
All 3 founders have some history working within or at the very least discussing elements about MLMs over the years. Aspen was working as a consultant for it Works! before getting involved with Emris.
Illean was an individual who taught others how to start MLM business whilst Matthew seems to have had major success within the industry having worked within Total life changes and Visalus.
In fact at one point he claims to have built a downline team of over 10k individuals and made over $250k as a result. So at the very least all 3 have a rough if not a good idea as to how a MLM business should run long term however, whether or not this experience will translate to the real world for Emris is hard to say.

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.
HOW TO GET STARTED
If you want to become an affiliate for Emris, you’d firstly need to purchase your affiliate membership which starts of at $49 and is then $35/year.
You can also choose to purchase an optional business starter kit, which include the following :

- Legacy Builder Kit – $499
- Presidential Kit – $999
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
If you’re serious about joining Emris, learning the compensation plan will be very important which is why in this section of the review I’ll breakdown the most important money making methods the compensation plan lays out.
First of all I’ll breakdown the different affiliate ranks that are used along with the criteria necessary to achieve them :
- Brand Ambassador – sign up as an Emris International affiliate and generate and maintain 80 PV
- Executive – maintain 80 PV and recruit two affiliates (placed on on either side of the binary team)
- 1 Star Executive – maintain 80 PV, personally recruit three affiliates and generate 1500 GV in weaker binary team volume
- 2 Star Executive – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 4500 in weaker binary team volume
- 3 Star Executive – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 9000 GV in weaker binary team volume
- Director – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 18,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
- 1 Star Director – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 36,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
- 2 Star Director – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 75,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
- 3 Star Director – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 150,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
- Vice President – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 300,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
- Senior Vice President – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 600,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
- Executive Vice President – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 900,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
- Presidential Ambassador – maintain 80 PV, maintain three personally recruited affiliates and generate 1,200,000 GV in both weaker binary and unilevel team volume
Retail Commissions
The first way to make money with Emris is through the sales you personally make. This is calculated as the difference between the wholesale price of a product and its retail pricing.
Recruitment Commissions
When an affiliate recruits others who also purchase one of the starter kits, they’ll receive the following commissions :
- recruit a Business Builder Kit affiliate and receive $50
- recruit a Legacy Builder Kit affiliate and receive $100
- recruit a Presidential Kit affiliate and receive $200
Residual Commissions
Emris International aims to pay its affiliates residually utilising a binary structure. This means that an affiliate will be able to recruit individual on the left and right leg of this structure directly and indirectly for a theoretically infinite number of recruits in the vertical sense.
As for how the payments are distributed, at the end of each week Emris tallies up the sales volume on each of the legs and pays out a percentage as commissions based on the leg that generates the least sales :
- Executives receive 8%, capped at $200 a week
- 1 Star Executives receive 9%, capped at $300 a week
- 2 Star Executives receive 10%, capped at $400 a week
- 3 Star Executives receive 11%, capped at $500 a week
- Directors receive 12% capped, at $1000 a week
- 1 Star Directors receive 13%, capped at $2500 a week
- 2 Star Directors receive 14%, capped at $5000 a week
- 3 Star Directors receive 15%, capped at $10,000 a week
- Vice Presidents receive 15%, capped at $20,000 a week
- Senior Vice Presidents receive 15%, capped at $30,000 a week
- Executive Vice Presidents receive 15%, capped at $40,000 a week
- Presidential Ambassadors receive 15%, capped at $75,000 a week
The remaining numbers within the stronger binary side are flushed and carried on over for the following week.
Check Match Bonus
This bonus uses a unilevel structure through which it pays out affiliates. The format used here is that of a generation bonus which simply means that whenever a Director level member or higher is found within a level of the unilevel structure a generation will be accomplished.
If this occurs a second time on one of the unilevel levels, that would cause the second generation to be satisfied and so on until the third generation is created.
Affiliates will be paid the following percentages based on their personal rank :
- 2 Star Executives to Directors earn a 10% match on one generation
- 1 and 2 Star Directors earn a 10% match on the first generation and 5% on a second
- 3 Star Directors and higher earn a 10% match on the first generation and 5% on the second and third
There are various other bonuses such as the director and vice president bonus pools, Vip power bonus, global travel incentives and the global customer bonus pool.
The reason I’m not covering them here is because they’re probably not worth learning as a beginner however, if you still want to to understand them click here to access the compensation plan Pdf file.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
Recruitment Seems To Be Essential For Success
Although recruitment isn’t absolutely essential in order to make money with Emris, from what I understand about the company, there’s a good chance that the majority of the money individuals will make is through the products purchased via the autoship plan from recruited affiliates.
Besides, the retail commission rates aren’t all that great being 10% per sale meaning you’d need to sell roughly 300 – 400 at ab$7 commission per sale just to make a minimum full time income.
Theoretically speaking succeeding with retail sales is possible but, residual commissions are the draw of MLM’s anyways therefore, it should make sense that the top earners within Emris also probably have the largest downline teams.
Most People Will Fail
Although Emris is still fairly new making it difficult to accurately state how much members are earning, having checked out a ton of other MLM’s income statements over the years I do believe I have a pretty good idea as to what the potential results will be.
I’ve found that generally only the top 5% of all members tend to make a a decent income of around $1k/month whilst more often than not the full time income earners are the top 1% of all members.
THE GOOD THINGS
The main aspects that stand out for me are that its owners seem to have a decent amount of experience within the MLM industry and the company’s basic image as whole however, as it is still so new there isn’t too much else that stands out.

IS EMRIS INTERNATIONAL A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?
No, Emris International is neither a pyramid scheme or a scam but this doesn’t mean I’d go out of my way to recommend it.
MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.
The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because
– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.
The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
