Is Amare Global A Scam?(A Pyramid Scheme Or Legit?!)

It’s likely that you have come across Amare Global through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Amare Global a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Amare Global review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Amare Global. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Amare Global so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Amare Global that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Amare Global

OWNER/S: Hiep Tran & Scott Talbott

TYPE OF PRODUCT: health and wellness MLM

PRICE: $69.95/year

SUMMARY: At the current moment I do not believe Amare is a pyramid scheme or a scam, it does appear to be a legitimate MLM company that may work for some but, the MLM business opportunity as a whole isn’t something I’d recommend the vast majority of individuals to join.

I do like the fact Amare is reasonably cheap to join and the retail commissions are decent too but, this isn’t enough of a reason to go for Amare’s opportunity over something else.

The big push on recruitment to succeed, the fact Amare’s products are expensive and in a very saturated market (the health and wellness niche), one of the owners poor history in the MLM scene is another concern and lastly the very high likelihood of failure are the main reasons why I’d suggest skipping out on this opportunity by Amare.

FINAL RATING: 2/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS AMARE GLOBAL?

Amare global

Amare Global is a MLM company founded in 2016 by Hiep Tran & Scott Talbott and it was also established in California. It’s  involved in the health and wellness niche which means it’s in a very competitive market where MLM’s like zija, quiari, neora, isagenix and more companies are a part of.

It makes sense that the industry is super competitive due to how people always will want to be healthy so, if you were to join Amare, know that there is a ton of other brands you’ll be competing with.

The company aims to help people with mental well being as well as give them the opportunity to make money by becoming a distributor so, it’s not necessarily unique but, I’m sure both the business and the products could work if done and used by the right people.

There is one concerning thing that I came across regarding one of Amare’s owners, namely Scott Talbott. Scott had legal issues with his previous MLM, Cortislim. He was penalised by the FTC for exaggerating their products’ benefits. In 2005, Cortislim was ordered to pay a $4.5 million fine in cash from the lawsuit, which puts a pretty big dent in Scott’s credibility.

Then again that was well over 10 years ago and hopefully with the help of his business partner, he won’t go down that path again although at the current moment, it’s too early to tell.

AMARE GLOBAL PRODUCT LINE

The products within Amare’s line up included mental wellbeing supplements along with essential nutrients that aim to promote better health.

Amare have a large variety of products that are supposedly backed by science (it’s hard to say of this is true) but, I’ll only list some of the more popular products right now.

  • FundaMental Pack ($134)
  • Launch Pack ($749)
  • Family Wellness Pack ($399)
  • Core Wellness Pack ($188)
  • Kids FundaMental Pack ($119)
  • Project B3 Pack ($274)

As you can see, the products themselves are really expensive, atleast I would think so. I’m sure if you did some research you could find equivalent items at a lower price but, I’m not the most well versed when it comes to what a reasonable price tag for products like these are so ultimately you’ll have to be the judge on that.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH AMARE?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Amare being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to join Amare, there are 2 membership options you can choose from. You can choose to be just a Preferred Customer or a Wellness Partner.

A preferred customer pays $24.95 per year and will get access to the following benefits :

  1. 25% Off on retail product prices
  2. Get free products when you refer other people as customers.

On the other hand a wellness partner must pay $69.95 per year to get access to the following benefits :

  1. 25% Off on retail product prices
  2. Earn commissions with the company’s Compensation Plan.
  3. You also get a business starter kit, systems, and tools.

This seems reasonable right and it is but, there’s many different costs that you’ll have to deal with after this such as buying products at the wholesale price so you can sell them or even investing in the $699.95 launch pack (as its called) which is expensive on the surface but, in general will have a much better initial return on investment than simply buying products at their normal wholesale pricing.

So in reality it can get very expensive but, it’s definitely among the cheaper companies I’ve reviewed when it comes to just joining.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Amare has very long compensation plan spanning over 20 pages so I’m not going to go over everything in it but, I will briefly explain some of the more core elements to the plan.

Firstly I want to let you know that there are officially 11 main ranks from Builder rank to Super. This honestly isn’t the most I’ve seen but the fact there are so many ranks is a little concerning when you consider that only the top ranks tend to be successful within any given MLM.

Now I’ll cover some elements of the plan.

Retail Commissions

As you get a 25% discount whenever you buy a product from Amare, that 25% difference is the profit you’ll make per sale and considering how expensive the products Amare sell are, you should make a healthy profit everytime you make a sale.

Residual Commissions

Residual commissions are basically commissions you’ll make from any one of your referrals up till the 7th level on your structure.

As for how much you get paid, that will be dependant on how highly you rank within Amare as well as how many of your recruits generate regular sales.

The image below depicts the percentage value an affiliate can be paid out from their downline depending on their ranks.

Amare global compensation plan

As you can see, the max commission you can earn from each of your levels is 5% which doesn’t look all that big however, imagine having hundreds of people in your structure, that’s when things really start taking shape and you start seeing the real potential.

This is also a problem I have with MLM’s in general because recruitment is pretty much the only way to make good money with them, with Amare being no exception.

Other Various Bonuses

Other elements of the compensation plan include a Personal Customer Volume Bonus, Heart Start Bonus, The Me and 3 Bonus, Revenue Bonus Pools and a few more so there are quite a few ways to make money with the company.

If you want a more in depth look at Amare’s plan click here to check out the pdf file or watch the video below though do keep in mind it is very long and in depth.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Recruiting Is Essential For Success In A MLM

If you don’t like to recruit or aren’t willing to get good at it, it’s unlikely that you’ll be successful with Amare. The fact of the matter is that the majority of individuals who’ll succeed through Amare will be very good at recruiting.

Some may make decent income through pure retail sales but it’s the residual commissions that’ll amount to the majority of money Amare affiliates make.

That’s just how it is to be honest. You can recruit in many ways whether through offline or online means but, if you don’t atleast attempt to study the best ways to target prospects that are genuinely interested, sometimes even train these prospects to be good recruiters themselves, your results will at best be poor.

If you aren’t able to recruit solid quality prospects, you should probably expect to never make any kind of profit let alone quit your current full time job.

It’s In A Very Saturated Market

The products being expensive as well as in the very competitive health and wellness industry is another problem I reckon a lot people will have with Amare and its ability to stay in business for the long term.

At this point it is nearly 4 years old so maybe there’s a possibility it may remain in business a while yet but, you shouldn’t bet on it considering the majority of new businesses tend to collapse within 10 years.

Scott Talbotts Past Is A Bit Concerning

Scott’s previous lawsuits with his other MLM company is also a little concerning, especially considering the fact he did overhype his products and in turn was hit with a $4.5 million fine.

Granted this did happen well over 10 years ago but, it does have you question this owners character a little.

Most People Will Fail

I couldn’t find an income disclosure statement on how much people make as partners for Amare but, if I were to make an educated guess, I’d be inclined to believe it’s not too much.

From my research and having seen tens of other income statements, generally speaking only around 5% of members tend to make $1k/month whilst only the top 1% make around the full time income range (around $2k+/month )on average.

So you definitely shouldn’t get your hopes up if you were to join Amare because the majority probably won’t succeed unless they spend thousands or work tireless hours (effectively) to make it work out.

THE GOOD THINGS

It’s Reasonably Cheap To Join

It only costing around $69.95 a year to remain an active member is actually pretty cheap when compared to so many other companies. I don’t believe there’s any kind of autoship requirement which is surprising so, there’s no obligation to buy more products then you may need.

Of course, in the end of the day you will need to buy products to maintain the business which will result in your investment increasing but, the fact it’s not forced on you is definitely a positive when comes to MLM’s

The Retail Commissions Are Pretty Good

Although retail commissions are unlikely to be your biggest earner, the 25% discount (which will likely result in 30 – 35% profit) is nice nonetheless.

IS AMARE GLOBAL A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Amare , feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Amare and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
