Ring Bomb Party Review (An Addictive Ring Revealing Scam!?)

It’s likely that you have come across Ring Bomb Party through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Ring Bomb Party a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Ring Bomb Party review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining PRODUCT. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Ring Bomb Party so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Ring Bomb Party that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Ring Bomb Party (RBP)

OWNER/S: Lillian Coleman

TYPE OF PRODUCT: Jewellery based MLM

PRICE: $49 + Monthly PV

SUMMARY:

As far as I can tell no, Ring Bomb Party is neither a pyramid scheme or a scam but, this does not mean that the products they sell and the opportunity as a whole is worth investing in.

This is because if you’re not good at either making a large amount of retail sales or able to recruit tons of people into your team, the chances of succeeding as one of RBP’s hostesses will be tough. On top of that the quality of their items are mediocre at best and seem to break quite a lot.

That being said a party based around seeing what you’ll get inside does make hosting RBP parties far more enjoyable than what other MLM’s offer however, as the whole premise behind the business is essentially like gambling, it is possible that you may very well get addicted to the whole seeing what’s inside as opposed to pursing the business opportunity.

That’s just my two cents, of course if you feel like the business resonates with you I won’t stop you from joining but, I will say that I personally do not recommend it.

FINAL RATING: 2/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS RING BOMB PARTY?

Ring Bomb Party logo

Ring Bomb Party is quite a unique and peculiar idea for a jewellery based MLM business as it requires both customers and consultants to purchase a bath bomb, place the item in the bath and obviously let the bath bomb dissolve in the water and basically see what ring is inside.

It’s a pretty unique idea and I guess it can be quite exciting if you want to see what ring you’ll find within.

Now taking a look at a bit of RBP’s background , RBP was founded all the way back in 2016 by Lillian Coleman. She, along with her sisters run the company so, the fact it’s been around for 3 – 4 years shows that their idea isn’t a complete bust at least.

The company is also accredited by the BBB although, that doesn’t necessarily mean the opportunity as a whole will be worth the investment.

RING BOMB PARTY PRODUCTS

As I mentioned above essentially all that RBP sells to its customers is the ability to purchase a bath bomb with a ring in it. These bath bombs seem to cost $17.95. They also have a mens ring collection which is a little more expensive at the $32.95 price range.

Each bath bomb comes with a ring inside where the suggested retail price for each ring within can range anywhere from $25 – $500 for the womens range and $85 – $500 for the mens.

Of course this is just the suggested retail price so I’m pretty sure that in reality the prices for each ring will be much lower especially when you take into account the bath bombs are always set to be cheaper than the suggest retail value of each ring. The only reason why thw retail pricing is so high is probably due to each ring being custom made.

The whole premise of the business is kind of like a lucky dip as in you don’t know exactly what you’re getting, then again this is what makes RBP exciting. It should theoretically improve any MLM parties that are held and it may even convince some individuals who like gambling a little to try their luck.

Of course as is the case with gambling, it can be addictive and I wouldn’t be surprised if quite a few customers just buy these rings to fuel their addiction as opposed to actually wanting the rings found inside.

Also supposedly there are diamond rings within some bath bombs but, I couldn’t tell you personally if this is true or not.

What Do People Think Of The Rings?

Within BBB, although most would agree that the rings within the bath bombs are far from the actual suggested retail value, some did however like the rings and found them to be quite cute.

That being said the quality of each ring according to most people seems to be quite poor according to reviews on BBB so, overall the quality of the rings and the experiences across the board is a mixed bag.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH RING BOMB PARTY?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Ring Bomb Party being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to become a RBP Hostess you’ll need to invest in a starter kit worth $49 and then invest in a further 350PV’s worth of products (in the form of personal and direct retail sales I assume) in order to maintain your status as an active affiliate for the company.

There’s also a website fee included within although RBP isn’t quite clear about how much that will cost. If I were to assume though, it’d be in the region of $10.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

The compensation plan is a very important document to learn if you were thinking about becoming a consultant therefore, in this section of the review I’ll briefly go over it’s core contents so you atleast know how to make money with the company.

There are 2 core ways to earn with RBP

Retail Commissions

The first way is through retail commissions. This is determined by the amount of PV you generate and is calculated as a 20% commission determined by the difference between the wholesale price of a both bomb and the retail price.

As for how the commission rates are determined, they are done so in the following manner :

  • 350 PV = 20%
  • 1000 PV = 25%
  • 1500 PV = 30%
  • 2000 PV = 35%

Residual Commissions

In order to qualify for the residual commissions, an affiliate would first need to achieve the Citrine Senior rank after which they’d be able to earn a 5% commission and above based off of the sales generated by your team within each level within the unilevel structure this element of the plan utilises.

The higher your rank, the more opportunity you’ll have to earn however, the earning potential will be capped at the 7th level.

If you want a more in depth look at the plan to determine whether or not this opportunity offered by RBP is for you, I’d suggest checking out the video below.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

The Rings Seem To Be Of Mediocre Quality

Although there individuals who have enjoyed the look of the rings, there are also a lot of individuals who’ve purchased the bath bombs and have found the rings inside to be of very mediocre quality with the stones inside falling out, the bands themselves discolouring and so on.

When you take into account RBP advertise some of their rings to be worth hundreds of dollars, the fact the quality of their merchandise is very mediocre is a fairly big problem, in my opinion at least.

The Website Isn’t Transparent About Too Many Things

Firstly, there really isn’t any information on who the owner is within the company. Of course I did manage to find out who it was through a bit of digging but this is a little concern of mine. Also on the website you’re not even told the price of each of the bath bombs.

Once again this is pretty easy to find if you just search it up but I would think it’d be better if they just told you the prices on the website.

Lastly, RBP don’t seem to be very transparent about how much money each of their consultants or I guess you could say hostesses are making.

Then again having checked out hundreds of MLM’s and seen many income disclosure statements from these MLM’s as well, I’m pretty sure that the rate of success is likely to be very low.

I’ve found that generally the top 5% within any given MLM tend to make a decent income of $1k/month whilst an even smaller 1% tend to make $2k+/month or roughly around the full time income mark.

THE GOOD THINGS

It’s Not Completely Reliant On Recruitment

Although recruitment is certainly plays a huge role in how to become one of the top affiliates for the company and in turn earn the most money, at the very least it appears as if RBP do put in place a disclosure that retail sales will be essential for you to maintain your active status.

Ring Bomb Party disclaimer

That being said, the retail sales will only play a minor role on whether or not you’ll actually make good money with the company because, unless you’re able to move a large amount of stock of bath bombs every month (we’re talking in the hundreds per month here) recruitment will still be the primary method for success.

14 Day Refund Policy

This is obviously a great gesture because if you don’t like what’s inside or if the ring breaks within the 14 day period you can get your money back.

That being said the rings normally tend to break a little later then that period meaning even if the 14 day return policy is solid, it won’t resolve very many of the issues that most people tend to face with rings later down the line.

IS RING BOMB PARTY A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Ring Bomb Party, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Ring Bomb Party and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!

  1. I bought a bunch of these rings as X-mas gifts. They are marked with numbers from 30 to 44. I need to know what these numbers mean. I cannot get the person I bought them from to return my calls. Can you help me?
