Is Emailconomy a Scam? (A Pyramid Scheme EXPOSED!)(REVIEW)

It’s likely that you have come across Emailconomy through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Emailconomy a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Emailconomy review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Emailconomy. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Emailconomy so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Emailconomy that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Emailconomy

OWNER/S: Angel Michelangelo Lopez

TYPE OF PRODUCT: direct mailing MLM

PRICE: $500 – $2500

SUMMARY: Well you already know the answer but yeah, from the signs that I’ve seen, Emailconomy is 100% a scam and a pyramid scheme.

The fact there’s no real tangible product or value in his membership, the fact Emailconomy tries to try and convince you to spend a lot more money on a scheme that’s very outdated and likely quite expensive and last but not least, Angel’s track record within the online and sales sector being that of a fraudster, a scammmer, makes it pretty much impossible to reccomend anyone to join this pyramid scheme unless they want to have their money siphoned out of their bank accounts.

FINAL RATING: 0/5

RECOMMENDED: NO!!

WHAT IS EMAILCONOMY?

Emailconomy logo

Emailconomy is an email marketing based MLM company founded in 2019 by this individual named Angel Michelangelo Lopez. Just to give you little backstory on the owner, all the way back in 2014 Angel worked with another digital MLM company called empower network. The company did eventually collapse in 2017.

Ever since the collapse of Empower Network, Angel has been promoting other services as well as classing himself as an internet marketing coach and of course now he’s the CEO of emailconomy.

As for what the company does, through it you basically make commissions for signing people up (I’ll discuss this in more detail later). The company asks you to first enroll and afterwards they want you to enrol other people into the system using their email and direct marketing strategies to get people in.

Then Emailconomy will attempt to close these potential prospects in your behalf and get oof course, after all of this is donr you’ll get paid.

To be honest with you here, I don’t really see this strategy being all that legit, especially because the company uses a three tiered MLM structure nevertheless, I don’t want you to come to a conclusion before you see everything else I’ve learnt about it so that’s what I’ll move onto next.

EMAILCONOMY PRODUCTS

Emailconomy don’t have any real tangible products they sell, according to the website the main product they sell are the membership packages and email marketing campaigns to promote the Emailconomy membership.

This is already a huge red flag because the company is not really selling anything of value and once you get into the system, you’ll literally be asked to sell this, frankly, valueless membership to potential customers simply to make a bit of cash. Of course it’s no where near as simple as that but you get my point.

Making 10 $200 sales in a month honestly does sound easy but, it’s a lot easier said than done.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH EMAILCONOMY?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Emailconomy being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to join Emailconomy and actively become someone who promotes the system, you’ll need to purchase one of their stater packs. This will set you back around $500 – $2500.

Of course the amount you make as a member will depend on what starter level you jump in at out of the 3 options provided. The package levels include :

  • Inner Circle : $500
  • Diamond costs : $1000
  • Master costs : $2500

As you can see the packages that Emailconomy sell can become very expensive, in fact I’d go so far as to say that these packages, which aren’t really worth anything tangible and aren’t even of any real value, are among the more expensive MLM’s I’ve seen.

Not to the same levels as Mobe or Digital Altitudes but, it certainly is asking for too much considering what your taught within the packages.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

There are 2 main ways to earn with Emailconomy, the first is through direct sales from people you’ve directly coerced into joining. The amounts you get paid include :

  • Inner Circle costs : $200 per affiliate recruited who also buys Inner Circle
  • Diamond costs : $400 per affiliate recruited who also buys Diamond
  • Master costs $2500 : $1000 per affiliate recruited who also buys Master

The second way to get paid is through the unilevel structure. A unilevel structure has multiple levels within it where you’re theoretically able to recruit an infinite number of people horizontally whilst the depth of the structure is capped.

Emailconomy refers to this element of their plan as “team sales” where you’re able to earn a commission amount from your level 2 recruits (your personal recruited affiliate’s personal recruits).

The rates for these commissons are as follows :

  • Inner Circle team sales pay a $100 commission
  • Diamond team sales pay a $200 commission
  • Master team sales pay a $500 commission

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

The Company Encourages Spam Marketing

A large portion of what Emailconomy asks you to do in order to succeed is to spam people with companies “opportunity”, in fact Angel reccomends you go ahead and invest in more direct emails. He suggests that you don’t spend whatever profit you make on a gift for yourself or trip out of the country.

He asks you to spend even more on getting more people into his system, basically he wants you to recruit a lot and ultimately purchase 5000 direct mail campaign letters from him to do so.

This is the a major sign that the system is a pyramid scheme because the only way to make money with Emailconomy is by selling the membership and recruiting unsuspecting people. The FTC brands this practice as a pyramid scheme…

Emailconomy Doesn’t Sell Anything Of True Value

The fact that the primary product Emailconomy sell is their membership is quite reminiscent of mobe, which was genuinely outed as a pyramid scheme.

Although it’s hard to say if Emailconomy uses the pay to play system that mobe used to entice their members into buying higher level packages to unlock higher commissions, they’re still pretty similar in the sense that you’re required to buy something from the companies directly to be able to genuinely earn money from them both (buying direct mail campaigns).

Angel Michelangelo Lopez Has Horrible Reviews For His Other Products

On complaints board it appears as if a lot people are not a fan of how Angel operates.

He charges people thousands to work with him, where he’s made ludicrous remarks on how he can make tons of money for clients yet (obviously he didn’t) he plays a cat and mouse game and simply doesn’t deliver.

There are plenty of others who’ve experienced the same things such as being talked into investing and eventually getting scammed and losing the cash they invested.

Considering this guys track record of literally doing this crap for around a decade, Angel is pretty much a wolf in sheeps clothing. You shouldn’t get involved with him otherwise you’re more than likely going to be taken advantage of.

THE GOOD THINGS

Emailconomy literally has nothing good going for it. All I suggest you do is skip this train wreck of a course because it’s firstly a full on scam and secondly it’s a system that wants you to spam, likely desperate people financially, with a valueless direct mail system.

I mean think about it, who in their right mind would trust mail that claims they can make you rich but all you need to do is give them $2.5k? I know that some people would but, I think it’s outrageous to think that this very expensive direct mailing business would be worth the upfront investment on your part.

So yeah… Skip this MLM.

IS EMAILCONOMY A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

Well you already know the answer but yeah, from the signs that I’ve seen, Emailconomy is 100% a scam and a pyramid scheme.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Emailconomy, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Emailconomy and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments.

Thanks
