It’s likely that you have come across DXN through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.
Is DXN a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this DXN review.
First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining DXN. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.
To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of DXN so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.
What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at DXN that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

Simply put, you shouldn’t expect to get to a level where DXN will be able to replace or even supplement your full time income unless you really go all in with recruitment side of things, which is a lot easier said than done.

WHAT IS DXN?
DXN is a MLM company, which primarily focuses on the health and coffee side of things, which was founded all the way back in 1993. It initially launched in Malaysia before launching in USA by 2002. After that it launched in Canada and Mexico by 2003.
As for the company’s owner, it’s a guy named Dr. Lim Siow Jin who appears to be an expert in alternative medicines. The company is also a multi billion dollar one yet somehow over its nearly 30 years of being in business, there doesn’t seem to be any major lawsuits against them which I guess is a pretty positive for such an older business to be in.
The only thing that separates DXN from the majority of its competitors is the use of this special mushroom like ingredient within its coffee called Ganoderma Lucidium. Ganoderma is what is known as a reishi mushroom.
The benefits of this ingredient include :
- Enhance the immune system
- Prevent or slow down cancerous tumors
- Regulate blood pressure
- Alleviate allergies
- Decrease inflammation
- Aid in digestion, etc…
Ganoderma is also one of the core components to the coffee found within another coffee based MLM called Organo Gold, who’s coffee I found through research had some negative side effects for some individuals.
But besides Organo I don’t know of any other companies that use Ganoderma within their products.

DXN PRODUCTS
As for the products offered by DXN, their mainline items are of course coffee based beverages.
Regarding the other products, DXN does appear to have branched out to a lot of different categories, meaning I won’t list all of the individual products here cause they do have a lot of products.
One thing of note about their products is that the ingredients used are homegrown. That’s a major positive and will ensure quality control. What may be surprising is that they actually have some of the largest Ganoderma factories in Asia, which makes sense at this point considering the age and scope of their business now.
Moving on, the different category of products offered within DXN include :
- Coffee and teas
- Supplements
- Personal care products
- Skin care products
- Cosmetics
- Household products
- Home appliances
- Water treatments
- Apparel & clothing
The prices for the majority of their items aren’t too bad with their coffee based products ranging between $10 – $20. As for the reviews of their coffee, at the very least, they do appear to be very positive on amazon.
Of course every product will have a few people who don’t have a great experience with them, especially when they use ingredients like Ganoderma however, I didn’t really find many complaints on the coffee products offered by DXN so, at least on that front DXN is doing well.
HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH DXN?
As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, DXN being no exception.
1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales
2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.
HOW TO GET STARTED
If you want to join DXN you only need to invest $20 for the membership fee, although there will be other business related expenses you’d need to think about too such as maybe holding hosting parties, buying products that you may not be able to sell, advertising cost and so on.
Therefore, in reality the real costs will be a lot higher than $20 but, this isn’t to say joining DXN isn’t affordable because from what I can tell it definitely is.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
The compensation plan is easily tie most important document to study if you were to join DXN, which is why in this section of the review I’ll be covering some of the more important ways to make money with the company.
Also, as DXN is a MLM, it has a rankings system on place, generally with the more ranks implying that there’s a lot more recruitment necessary to succeed. In this case DXN actually has 23 affiliate ranks, which is a pretty staggering number and among the most I’ve seen within any MLM.
As for what these ranks are, they include :

Retail Commissions
The first and most common way to make money with DXN is through sales you personally make. The profits you make will be the difference between the wholesale price at which you purchase a product and the retail price that you’re recommended to sell it at.
According DXN, the profit margins will be in the region of 5% – 15%.
Group Bonus
This money is earned depending on the volume of sales your personally recruited team generates. Each affiliate will earn a percentage of the group volume generated, which means the earning potential will be decided as such :
- 100 PV – 6%
- 300 PV – 9%
- 1000 PV – 12%
- 2000 PV – 15%
- 3250 PV – 18%
- 4500+ PV – 21%
Star Bonus
Star Group Bonus givers you the opportunity to earn beyond the 21% cap on personally recruited affiliates. You can earn anywhere from 27% to 37% which will increase the higher in rank your recruits become.
Development Bonus
This bonus allows you to earn from your other downline member that go beyond your personal recruits. Only star diamond level affiliates and higher will be eligible to earn from this bonus, which is a bonus that is paid in the form of a unilevel structure.
This simply means an affiliate will be able to earn infinitely from horizontal recruits whilst vertically the earnings will be capped, which in this case is until level 5.
- Level 1 – 5%
- Level 2 – 4%
- Level 3 – 3%
- Level 4 – 2%
- Level 5 – 1%
- There are various other bonuses DXN offer too such as a Leadership Bonus, International Profit Sharing and Travel Seminar Incentive but, I won’t be covering them here because they won’t be relevant for beginner level affiliates.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS
Recruiting Is Essential For Success
Considering the huge number of ranks within DXN, it only makes sense that you will need to be very good at recruitment in order to make it to the top of the company and in turn succeed.
Of course it is technically possible to make a full time income through just sales however, when you take into account the smaller commission per sale and the fact the products themselves are pretty cheap too, you’d likely need to sell hundreds if not in the region of 1000 products a month just to generate income that will full under the full time range.
I’m not saying that recruitment will be easy, it obviously won’t be especially if you’re not experienced in that field but, it will give you a much better chance at achieving success with DXN over just making retail sales.
That’s why if you’re not willing to get good at recruitment, if you aren’t already, I’d suggest skipping DXN.
Most People Will Fail
I’ve found that generally only around 5% of members tend to make a decent income of around $1k/month within the MLM scene whilst an even tinier 1% of members tend to achieve the full time income range of around $2k+/month.
I’d hazard a guess that the number of successful DXN affiliates are probably higher because it’s been around a lot longer than most MLM’s but, I still doubt the figures will be much better than the numbers mentioned above.
THE GOOD THINGS
It’s Been Around A While
Being around since 1993 and in North and south America since 2003 means, to me at least, that DXN has quite a lot of credibility.
The reason I say this is because the majority of companies tend to collapse within only 10 years of business yet DXN is nearly 30 years old at this point. This doesn’t mean that it’s a great business opportunity to purse but, it definitely makes the company comes across as more legit.
People Seem To Like The Products
This is obviously a major positive and the fact they’re reasonably affordable, relative to other MLM’s, makes DXN come across a lot better than other MLM’s.
Cheap Joining Cost
Most other MLM’s tend to charge closer to the $200 – $400 range simply for the initial signing up process with another $600 – $800/year to have access to the compensation plan. So $20 and business related expenses that aren’t forced but optional means DXN is a far cheaper MLM to join over other institutions.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION
I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).
Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.
This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

– there is no need to recruit constantly
– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products
