It’s likely that you have come across VeloVita through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is VeloVita a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this VeloVita review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining VeloVita. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of VeloVita so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at VeloVita that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: VeloVita

OWNER/S: Kosta Gara (CEO) and Jeff Mack (President) in 2020.

TYPE OF PRODUCT: health and wellness MLM

PRICE: $49.95/month + starter kit

SUMMARY: As far as I can tell, VeloVita is not a pyramid scheme or scam, however, this does not mean that I’d openly go out of my to recommend it

Recruitment being crucial for success, the pay to play element in order to improve your position within the compensation plan and the very low success rates within MLM’s as a whole are the main reasons why I would not suggest putting your time into VeloVita but, if you believe it’s the right opportunity for you, I certainly won’t stop you from joining.

FINAL RATING: 2.5/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS VELOVITA?

VeloVita logo

VeloVita is a health and wellness/nutritional supplements MLM founded by co-founders Kosta Gara (CEO) and Jeff Mack (President) in 2020.

The company doesn’t seem to be very unique other than the fact they use nanotechnology within their products to enhance the supposed positive effects of the headlining product.

Delving into a bit of the owners background, Kosta has previously worked for a company called iGalen as the chief executive advisor. However, that company collapsed due to their product supplier suing them and actually landing a settlement.

Kosta also worked for this institute called the Gara group, which was a company designed to give MLM companies advice but, this stopped receiving traffic after iGalen collapsed.

Jeff also has a bit of experience having been the CEO of a company called Vidacup. Of course that company eventually collapsed too.

After Vidacup’s demise, Jeff started promoting himself as an expert in the network marketing space, through which I’m sure he made a bit of money before finally creating VeloVita with Kosta.

VELOVITA PRODUCTS

The headline product VeloVita sell is its “Bran imagined product, which is a water mixed dietary supplement made in the US.

VeloVita bran

According to the website, Bran reimagined is a nootropic that is mixed with nanotechnology in order to provide its consumers with an “instant boost to the central control unit of their body to their brain”

The product is available in three flavors; chocolate sea salt, lemon drop and caramel macchiato and is sold for $64.95 (at least according to wholesale prices).

I’m sure retail pricing will be closer to $100 for a box although that is yet to be confirmed.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH VELOVITA?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, VeloVita being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to become a VeloVita affiliate and ultimately generate income through their compensation plan, you’d need to first invest $49.95/month.

After this you’ll need to purchase Bran boxes, which from what I found also seem to determine your affiliate rank within the company :

  • Advocate – 1 box of Bran for $64.95
  • Promoter – 6 boxes of Bran for $324.75
  • Influencer – 12 boxes of Bran for $649.50
  • Ambassador – 25 boxes of Bran for $1299

Do note that influencer and Ambassador tier members don’t need to pay the first year’s annual fees.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

The compensation structure will be very important to learn if you’re serious about joining VeloVita, which is why in this section of the review I’ll briefly be going over the core contents of the plan so that you have rough idea as to how you’ll be making money as an affiliate.

Firstly, you should know that there are 6 different ranks an affiliate can achieve, which require the following criteria to be satisfied :

  • Affiliate – sign up as a VeloVita affiliate and qualify for MLM commissions
  • Star – recruit two MLM commission qualified affiliates and be earning 10 residual commission cycles a week
  • All Star – recruit and maintain four MLM commission qualified affiliates and be earning 25 residual commission cycles a week
  • Rock Star – maintain four personally recruited MLM commission qualified affiliates, have one Star or higher ranked affiliate on both sides of your binary team and be earning 50 residual commission cycles a week
  • Super Star – maintain four personally recruited MLM commission qualified affiliates, have four Star or higher ranked affiliates on both sides of your binary team and be earning 150 residual commission cycles a week
  • V-Star – maintain four personally recruited MLM commission qualified affiliates, have four Rock Star or higher ranked affiliates on both sides of your binary team and be earning 500 residual commission cycles a week

Another thing worth noting is that an affiliate will also need to recruit 2 other members personally whilst maintaining 3 retail customers in order to qualify for commissions too.

Retail Commissions

The first way an affiliate can make money with VeloVita is by purchasing the products at wholesale price and then selling them at the recommended retail price, keeping the difference as profits.

Referral Commissions

VeloVita pays affiliates commissions based on how many boxes of bran their personal recruits purchases, which is determined in the following manner :

  • Advocate and Promoter tier affiliates receive a 10% referral commission rate
  • Influencer tier affiliates receive a 15% referral commission rate
  • Ambassador tier affiliates receive a 20% referral commission rate

Residual Commissions

Residual Commissions are paid out following a binary structure. This means that a qualified member will be placed at the top of the structure able to recruit individual on the left and right leg.

Their personal recruits will do the same as well their recruits. This pattern can continue infinitely in the vertical sense.

As for how the payments are distributed, VeloVita tallies up the total revenue generated on each side and then pays affiliate after a “cycle” has been satisfied.

A cycle pays out $30 and is generated when 200 GV in sales volume is made on the weaker binary team side which is matched against 400 GV on the stronger side.

The maximum amount an affiliate can earn is capped depending on their rank :

  • Stars can earn up to $6000 a week (200 cycles)
  • All Stars can earn up to $12,000 a week (400 cycles)
  • Rock Stars can earn up to $27,000 a week (900 cycles)
  • Super Stars can earn up to $54,000 a week (1800 cycles)
  • V-Stars can earn up to $120,000 a week (4000 cycles)

Matching Bonus

VeloVita also pay its affiliates a matching bonus on the earnings generated by downline recruits.

The earnings are paid out following a unilevel structure which simply means an affiliate will be able to earn infinitely horizontally but vertically the earnings are capped. In this case they’re capped at the 7th level.

  • Star ranked affiliates earn a 5% match on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates), 4% on level 2 and 3% on level 3
  • All Star ranked affiliates earn a 6% match on level 1, 5% on level 2, 4% on level 3 and 3% on level 4
  • Rock Star ranked affiliates earn a 7% match on level 1, 6% on level 2, 5% on level 3, 4% on level 4 and 3% on level 5
  • Super Star ranked affiliates earn an 8% match on level 1, 7% on level 2, 6% on level 3, 5% on level 4, 4% on level 5 and 3% on level 6
  • V-Star ranked affiliates earn a 9% match on level 1, 8% on level 2, 7% on level 3, 6% on level 4, 5% on level 5, 4% on level 6 and 3% on level 7

Beyond this there are a few other elements to the compensation plan such as the lifestyle bonus, the quarterly partnership bonus and the 5 year retirement bonus but, I don’t think they’re all that necessary to learn if your just starting out.

Of course if you still want to check them out or just want a more visual representation of the plan, you can watch the long video below instead.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Recruitment Seems To Be Crucial For Success

Although it is possible to make money through retail sales, the fact that recruitment is pretty much necessary to unlock all of the other payments does suggest to me that recruitment will be the far more profitable path to take, much like most other MLM’s.

This is because unlike making just retail sales where you’d need to sell hundreds of products every month to make a full time income, through recruitment it’ll actually get easier to reach that goal overtime as your team will get bigger without you needing put in as much work later on.

Of course in the beginning recruitment will be hard but, overall it will be crucial for your success. Therefore, if you’re not willing to get good at it (if you aren’t already), you more than likely will not succeed as a VeloVita affiliate.

It Follows A Pay To Play Sign Up Process

In order to join you’d also need to purchase the products as well, which kind of makes it a pay to play system. If you want to join at the highest affiliate rank right off the bat you’d need to purchases 20 boxes of Bran.

Unless you’re able to sell everything at a reasonable price, I don’t see why anyone would need so many bran boxes when signing up but, that’s just how it is.

The Chances Of Success Are Pretty Low

Even though the company is still very new, having seen tens of different income disclosure statements from other more established MLM’s, I do have a pretty good idea as to what a new affiliates chances of actually succeeding will be.

I’ve found that in most cases only the top 5% of all members tend to make around $1k/month whilst the top 1% manage to make a full time income of around $2k/month.

What’s worse is that the majority of affiliates within MLM’s (around 70%+) tend not even to breakeven so, if you do sign up, expect your chances of success to be quite low.

THE GOOD THINGS

There’s nothing that stands about VeloVita in my opinion. It just comes across as another one of these slightly hyped up entities that is unlikely to be better than any of its other competitors, mostly due to the fact it uses a business structure that follows the slightly problematic pay to play structure.

Then again they’re still new and all of these issues can fairly easily be ironed out in time. I guess the only true positive I can state is the experience the co-founders bring to the table but, that’s about it.

IS VELOVITA A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

As far as I can tell, VeloVita is not a pyramid scheme or scam, however, this does not mean that I’d openly go out of my to recommend it

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding VeloVita, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about VeloVita and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
