ZoomBucks Review (Worth Your Time Or A Scam!?)

Welcome to my ZoomBucks review!

It’s likely that you have come across ZoomBucks through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to purchasing or joining ZoomBucks. For all you could have known, ZoomBucks may very well be a scam and rob you of your money so this review could help you find anything peculiar about it.

To be totally transparent with you I haven’t used ZoomBucks so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you on it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party review of ZoomBucks that will hopefully help you to make the correct decision in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Zoombucks

OWNER/S: Vikas Tailor

TYPE OF PRODUCT: GPT system

PRICE: free to join

SUMMARY: No, Zoombucks is not a scam, it’s a pretty solid GPT site which may be worth joining if you’re within one of the teir 1 countries and are willing to accept the time investment and mediocre payments when compared to other higher paying opportunities.

Simply put, unless you’re super bored and are willing to invest 30 or so minutes making roughly $2, I probably wouldn’t sign up to Zoombucks.

Then again, the site isn’t bad and it is free to join so worst case scenario if it doesn’t work out for you, you’d only be down a few hours and not a few thousand dollars.

FINAL RATING: 3.5/5

RECOMMENDED: Sure

WHAT IS ZOOMBUCKS?

Zoombucks logo

Zoombucks is a GPT (get paid to) Site that was founded all the way back in 2010 by Vikas Tailor. The company actually went on a hiatus in 2014 for 4 years until 2018 when it came back.

Zoombucks is the subsidiary of another GPT system called Grabpoints, which is a site with over a million users and is owned by The Marketing Group.

Just like your average GPT Site, you’ll be awarded money for completing specific tasks whether it be doing surveys, watching videos, getting referrals or doing some paid to do offers.

In this review I’ll basically go over the core benefits of the compensation plan offered by ZoomBucks and ultimately provide you with enough information to decide if promoting ZoomBucks or simply doing the tasks within the site is worth it.

HOW DOES ZOOMBUCKS WORK?

Firstly in order to join, an individual is required to be a minimum of 13 years old. If you meet this requirement, you will then simply need to put in your details and sign up.

Thankfully zoombucks isn’t restricted to only a handful of countries but, depending on which country you’re from, you may not get the best deals and tasks to complete due to the tiered system it has that creates better earning opportunities for certain countries.

Once you’ve completed the basic start up procedures, you should be ready to start earning.

How Do You Earn With ZoomBucks?

There are a fair few ways you can make money, or I guess I should say earn points that can be converted in to cash, with ZoomBucks. 1 point is equivalent to $0.001 so you’d need to generate 1000 points simply to make $1.

Anyways there are main way to make money with Zoombucks, which include the following :

#1 Watching Videos

Videos tend to be 2 – 3 minutes long with multiple adverts that tend to be 30 seconds each inbtween, which earn you 7 points after watching a set of videos. A set is equivalent to around 3 videos so, in total you’d need to invest around 8 – 10 minutes to earn 7 points aka $0.007 with Zoombucks, which is definitely not worth the time investment in my opinion.

Then again it is easy and if you have another tab up doing whatever else you need to do, it may not be the worst idea in the world to “view” a few of the videos in the background.

#2 Surveys

This is the most typical way to earn with any GPT site out there and if you do complete one, Zoombucks pay pretty nicely too, especially when compared to the video watching.

Depending on the length of the survey and if you don’t mess up by answering questions inconsistently, you could earn in the region of 1000 points.

Considering most surveys tend to be within the 15 minute plus range, the payout isn’t amazing when compared to a typical everyday job, it’s also not too bad an offer in the grand scheme of things too. Keep in mind that surveys are likely to be quite sporadic too so making a dollar on the regular isn’t how it’ll pan out if you decide to join Zoombucks.

#3 Completing Offers

Offers are also quite a high paying activity. The tasks you’ll generally be asked to complete include doing quizzes, playing a game, signing up to a specific websites and so on.

The amounts you earn here will depend on the difficulty of the task in question and therefore, will range accordingly. You can earn anywhere from 100 points to 1500+ points so, doing these tasks may be worth the effort.

#4 Downloading & Testing Apps

You’ll earn points by completing certain tasks regarding downloading apps, playing them to a certain level etc. The amount earned here will be dependent on how time consuming or difficult the task is.

If you want to be able to make more money with Zoombucks, you can also opt to sign up to the paid membership but, this can set you back anywhere from $5 – $59.99 but, it’s probably not worth it so, I’d suggest just looking past that.

How Does ZoomBucks Pay You?

In order to cash out with Zoombucks, you’ll need to accumulate at least 3000 points, which of course is equivalent to $3. You can either choose to withdraw it via PayPal or invest the points on the gift cards offered in the members area

The lower threshold is a nice touch in my opinion because most GPT sites tend to have a $10 – $20, which in itself isn’t super bad but, it can be a pain to achieve considering how low the payments are from completing surveys and other tasks.

WHO IS ZOOMBUCKS FOR?

If you’re just looking to make an extra bit of cash, although a very small amount at that, Zoombucks is probably a system that’ll be worth pursuing.

But, if you’re looking to make good money, money that could potentially sustain your lifestyle within a year or so, working within Zoombucks won’t accomplish this so, you probably should look into a completely different online opportunity if you want to make full time income.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Earning Potential Is Further Limted By The Tier System

If you’re located within one of the tier 1 countries, USA, UK, and Canada, the earning potential will be further limited.

Of course you shouldn’t expect to make a lot of money with Zoombucks anyways but, this further hampers the potential for members in other countries.

The Earning Potential Is Still Pretty Miniscule

When you take into account the time investment and the amount you earn for completing a task, there’s no denying Zoombucks is a very low return online money making opportunity.

Let’s say that there was no limit to the the amount of surveys or tasks you could do on Zoombucks, you’d still probably only earn around $4 – $5 bucks per hour, which is much lower than even the minimum wage in the US or any one of the other tier 1 countries.

But, in reality there is a limit so the earning potential. In fact making even $4 – $5 an hour will be really unlikely. It’s more likely to take a week to even reach the cash out threshold so, you should be aware of this before jumping on the Zoombucks bandwagon.

THE GOOD THINGS

It’s Available Everywhere

Although the tier system means every country won’t be able to benefit equally from the offers, still the fact it’s not restricted in most if not every country in the world is a pretty positive thing in my books

The Payments And Threshold Are Pretty Solid

The payment threshold being only $3 is actually very nice because it means you won’t need to do as much work before seeing some cash in your accounts and of course the surveys and offers also pay pretty well, compared to other GPT sites, which is another positive.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I’d suggest you check out my personal recommendation if you still want to make money online, though I’ll warn you right now, it isn’t something through which money will come easy.

It is nonetheless a great business model for the online space in my opinion

So what is this method that I’m talking about?

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it is because:

– expectations toward success are a lot more grounded

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– it is a very scalable business

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.
