Up2Give Review (A Crypto Scam Or Pyramid Scheme!?)

It’s likely that you have come across Up2Give through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is Up2Give a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this Up2Give review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining Up2Give. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of Up2Give so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at Up2Give that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: Up2Give

OWNER/S: Jerry Lopez

TYPE OF PRODUCT: crypto based MLM

PRICE: 0.005 BTC/month

SUMMARY: Yes, Up2Give is a pyramid scheme and a scam, there is nothing good about the opportunity at all. This is super clear when you take into account that they offer no tangible products to affiliates and the fact affiliates can only rely on their ability to recruit in order to make any kind of money.

These are among the clearest signs that I’ve ever seen when it comes to a MLM opportunity being a scam and pyramid scheme therefore, you absolutely must avoid Up2Give and tell everyone else you know (that may be interested in it) to do the same.

FINAL RATING: 0/5

RECOMMENDED: NO!!

WHAT IS UP2GIVE?

Up2Give logo

Up2Give is another one of these bitcoin based MLM’s that have been cropping up quite aggressively over the years and is a company that was founded in late 2019 by Jerry Lopez, who also happens to be the acting CEO.

The problem with crypto based MLM’s is that pretty much every single one of them seem to be scams and this is not necessarily because all cryptocurrencies are scams. It’s more so because the market isn’t moderated very well therefore there are a lot of people trying to advantage of this and in turn it’s full of scammers left right and centre.

After doing a bit of research on the owner, I managed to find that he has some experience within the MLM scene. Before creating Up2Give he used to work for a MLM company called Lyfestart International in 2014. 8 months after he jumped shipped to another MLM called Savi health, both of which operated in the same niche (health and wellness).

He once again decided to quit that MLM and only in mid 2019 did he finally get involved in the cryptocurrency scene with a company called Dunamis Mining.

Dunamis was eventually bought out by a different company called onyx lifestyle at which point Jerry finally decided to start up his own crypto currency/MLM company, which of course is Up2Give.

UP2GIVE PRODUCTS

The only thing Up2Give sells is the opportunity to join Up2Give, they don’t sell any physical products or services, which is something the company also seems to admit to not doing on their website which is already a major red flag.

The reason I say this is because by not offering anything tangible or valuable to members, the FTC won’t take kindly to it and secondly, relying only on recruitment for members to make money is a very common red flag that pyramid scheme like MLM’s tend to have so, Up2Give basically being guilty of both red flags puts it in the same category as scams and pyramid schemes.

Now would you genuinely want to risk your time and money on a business opportunity that not only is volatile but also shows signs of a pyramid scheme?

I’m pretty certain you wouldn’t so the lack of any tangible products is a major red flag and a major reason to skip Up2Give.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH UP2GIVE?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, Up2Give being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If for some reason you still want to join Up2Give or simply are curious about how much it would cost to join, the joining costs would be a 0.005 BTC monthly gifting payment for a normal affiliate membership.

If affiliates want to fully participate in the opportunity they will need to invest 1.345 BTC a month.

To put it bluntly the full participation costs are a joke because unless you’re making over like $30k a month, there’s no way you’d be able to afford the full participation considering at the time of writing this review, 1 bitcoin is worth roughly $10k so 1.375 BTC is worth around $14k per month.

This is obviously another huge red flag because it really does fell like Jerry is trying to extort uninformed individuals money, even if for the most part he wouldn’t succeed with getting many to pay for the full participation.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

Up2Give pays its members through a gifting compensation plan via 2 different matrix structures.
In order to gain access to the plan you’ll of course need to invest 0.005 BTC monthly and in turn will unlock the 2 x 1 matrix and after you’ve filled in the 2 positions found within the 2 x 1 matrix, you’ll be eligible to unlock the remainder of the 2 x 6 matrix structure.

Simply put, the number on the left determines how many members an affiliate can have within each level, which in this case is 2 members whilst the number on the right determines how many levels deep an affiliate will be able to earn from which reaches 6.

However, in order to unlock the 6 levels of the matrix an affiliate must first fill in their 2 x 1 matrix because before signing up an affiliate will gift their monthly bitcoin fee to their uplevel as a feeder.

Therefore, in order to recoup that fee they will need to fill in the 2 spots below with 2 other paying affiliates, in which case they will receive 0.01 BTC in gifting payments each month. This also funds the 2 x 6 matrix.

As for what you’ll earn through the 2 x 6 matrix, it includes the following :

  • level 1 – gift 0.01 BTC and receive 0.01 BTC from two filled positions
  • level 2 – gift 0.01 BTC and receive 0.01 BTC from four filled positions
  • level 3 – gift 0.02 BTC and receive 0.02 BTC from eight filled positions
  • level 4 – gift 0.05 BTC and receive 0.05 BTC from sixteen filled positions
  • level 5 – gift 0.25 BTC and receive 0.25 BTC from thirty-two filled positions
  • level 6 – gift 1 BTC and receive 1 BTC from sixty-four filled positions

So the whole compensation simply requires its members to buy the membership and pay that membership fee to others higher in the upline, much like a recruitment scam.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

You Can Only Succeed By Recruiting

The entire business model of Up2Give relies on an individuals ability to recruit because there aren’t any tangible or valuable products/services to sell to others.

The membership has literally no purpose other than to have you pay up line above your initial investment and this is literally the entirety of the business model, just pay for a membership so that you can pay someone else above you.

The fact Up2Give is both a cash gifting system whilst also being completely reliant on recruitment for success makes the whole system a full blown pyramid scheme, from the signs that I’ve noticed it showing at least.

No Tangible Products

There are literally no tangible products offered by Up2Give, all you can do is buy a membership which is literally worth nothing and which will be paid out to someone above you.

In reality a legitimate MLM company would actually offer its affiliates the option to buy and sell tangible/valuable products to others which isn’t something Up2Give allows therefore, this is a clear red flag in my books too!

THE GOOD THINGS

There is literally nothing good about Up2Give whatsoever, it’s just a horrible company /business that you absolutely should avoid.

IS UP2GIVE A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

Yes, Up2Give is a pyramid scheme and a scam, there is nothing good about the opportunity at all.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding Up2Give, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about Up2Give and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
