BioReigns Review (A CBD Pyramid Scheme Or A Scam?!)

It’s likely that you have come across BioReigns through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is BioReigns a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this BioReigns review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining BioReigns. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of BioReigns so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at BioReigns that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: BioReigns

OWNER/S: Bryan Reed and JoJo Dominic Contino

TYPE OF PRODUCT: CBD based MLM

PRICE: $50 – $599.99 + monthly autoship

SUMMARY: No, BioReigns is neither a pyramid scheme or a scam as it does sell real products but, considering it’s still so young it’s hard to concretely pinpoint if it may become a pyramid like entity in the future. That being said, even though it isn’t a scam I still don’t think it’s a great business opportunity to pursue.

I few reasons why I wouldn’t suggest you join is because there’s still a very heavy reliance on recruitment in order to succeed, the lack of expertise by the owners is another concern and of course the really low chance of succeess within the MLM scene, which more than likely will include BioReigns after a year or so too.

It’s quite possible that the products offered by BioReigns may be quite decent but, as a business opportunity I can’t see it as being worth your time which is why I’d suggest giving this one a miss.

FINAL RATING: 2/5

RECOMMENDED: No

WHAT IS BIOREIGNS?

BioReigns logo

BioReigns is a CBD health and wellness based MLM business that appears to have had its website registered in February 2018 but the company was officially launched in September 2019.

There isn’t much information about the owners of the company on their website even though it has an about page, it’s mostly just information to market the CBD products but, by doing a bit of research I managed to find out that the founders of the company are Bryan Reed and JoJo Dominic Contino.

Neither guys seems to have any experience within the MLM side of things or business side of things which kind of explains why there isn’t any bio of both of these guys on their website because they don’t have any kind of qualifications or experience within this business field.

Of course this doesn’t excuse the fact they don’t disclose their ownership of the company within their website but, I do understand why they wouldn’t.

BIOREIGNS PRODUCTS

BioReigns has a pretty large library of products despite the fairly young age. I guess one cool thing about the products offered is that they’re manufactured in the US but besides that they don’t seem to be all that unique.

The products offered by BioReigns include :

  • CBD Daily – “an all-natural, water-soluble Hemp / CBD / Curcumin complex”, retails at $69.99 for a 30 ml bottle ($89.99 for extra strength and $149.99 for ultra strength)
  • CBD Daily Full Spectrum – “an all-natural, water-soluble CBD Complex”, retails at $69.99 for a 30 ml bottle ($89.99 for extra strength)
  • Limitless – “energy-inducing, all-natural Limitless capsules, with Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) peptides”, retails at $69.99 for a bottle of 60 capsules ($15.99 for 10 capsules)
  • CBD Lean – “maximize your body’s natural ability to burn calories”, retails at $89.99 for a 30 ml bottle
  • CBDzzz – “an extremely beneficial all-natural CBD product with 5-HTP, GABA and DSIP”, retails at $69.99 for a 30 ml bottle ($89.99 for extra strength) or $15.99 for a 5 ml travel bottle

  • Derm Affect – “a blend of four peptides that may help rejuvenate your skin, making it more radiant, smooth and even”, retails at $69.99 for a 15 ml bottle
  • CBD BathBomb – “experience an invigorating and relaxing soak”, retails at $14.99 per bomb

  • Organic Gummy Bears – orgnanic gummy bears variant, retails at $79.99 for a bottle of 60 gummies or $16.99 for 10
  • Relief Cream – “experience our mild and soothing, non-greasy cream”, retails at $49.99 for a 3.3 oz (100 ml) bottle
  • Relief Lotion – “experience a voyage through a blissful day with this powerful proprietary formula of CBD Complex infused with Arnica Extract, Usnea Extract, Calendula Extract, Horse Chestnut Extract and essential oils”, retails at $39.99 for a 4 oz (120 ml) bottle
  • Relief Salve – “combines BioReigns proprietary, water-soluble CBD complex, infused with menthol, camphor and peppermint oil”, retails at $29.99 for a 2.3 oz (65 ml) bottle
  • Relief Roll On – “All the benefits of the BioReigns RELIEF Cream now available in an easy roll on”, retails at $49.99 for a 3 fl oz (88.7 ml) bottle

As for if they’re worth your money (the products are quite expensive after all} I don’t know but, the products are uniquely developed being water soluble and the 2 people on their Facebook page seem to like them but, because it is so new it’s hard to say if it’ll be worth it for you.

I certainly don’t deny the effectiveness of CBD based products and the treatment and pain relief they can produce for some but, whether BioReigns’ CBD items are worth buying over other competitors, that’s something that you’ll have to test out for yourself. After all results always seem to differ for each individual with these kinds of products.

HOW DO YOU MAKE MONEY WITH BIOREIGNS?

As is the case with pretty much all MLM businesses there are 2 ways to make money with them, BioReigns being no exception.

1. The first method is by directly selling the product to other individuals and in return make a commission for the sales

2. You make money through your recruits and downline, by getting residual income by following and meeting certain criteria as well as make money through bonuses and incentives due to meeting company set goals.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you want to join BioReigns you’ll need to purchase one of their activation packages.

These packages include :

  • Enrollee Activation – $50
  • Distributor Activation – $109.99
  • Sample Activation – $129.99
  • Manager Activation – $249.99
  • Elite Activation – $599.99

An affiliates earning potential also seems to be determined by the activation package an individual purchases. There also appears to be a further autoship cost that members will need to sign up to in order to remain eligible for the compensation plan too.

However, as a whole the costs for joining BioReigns are quite reasonable provided you don’t go for the highest level activation package right of the bat, which you more than likely will be convinced to purchase from your direct up line, probably with them enticing you with its higher income potential.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

If you’re serious about joining BioReigns, it will be important for your to learn at least the basics of the compensation plan, which is what I’ll be covering within this section of the review

But, before jumping into the main elements of the plan I’ll list down the different affiliate ranks an individual can achieve along with the criteria necessary to do so :

  • Enroller – sign up Enroller Activation Pack
  • Distributor – generate 35 PV (personal volume aka the monthly autoship) a month and/or sign up with a Distributor or Sample Activation Pack
  • Manager – generate 85 PV and 1000 GV (group volume aka the sales generated by your team) a month, and/or sign up with a Manager Activation Pack (1000 GV a month rank maintenance)
  • Elite – maintain 85 PV and generate 2000 GV a month, and/or sign up with an Elite Activation Pack (2000 GV a month rank maintenance)
  • Elite 5K – maintain 85 PV a month, generate 5000 GV a month and recruit and maintain three personally recruited affiliates
  • Elite 10K – maintain 85PV a month, generate 10,000 GV a month and maintain three personally recruited affiliates
  • Elite 25K – maintain 85PV a month, generate 25,000 GV a month and maintain three personally recruited affiliates
  • Elite 50K – maintain 85PV a month, generate 50,000 GV a month and maintain three personally recruited affiliates
  • Elite 100K – maintain 85PV a month, generate 100,000 GV a month and maintain three personally recruited affiliates
  • Elite 250K – maintain 85PV a month, generate 250,000 GV a month and maintain three personally recruited affiliates
  • Elite 500K – maintain 85PV a month, generate 500,000 GV a month and maintain three personally recruited affiliates
  • BioReigns Elite – maintain 85PV a month, generate 1,000,000 GV a month and maintain three personally recruited affiliates

As you can see there are 12 different ranks BioReigns affiliates can fall under, which is definitely quite a lot and of course recruitment also seems to play a huge role on whether an affiliate will move up in rank or not.

Retail Commissions

This commission is earned every time you personally sell a BioReigns product to a customer. The amount you’ll earn will be 25% to 50% of the sales volume which is pretty solid in my opinion.

Residual Commissions Unilevel

The first way in which BioReigns pays its affiliates residually is through a unilevel structure. This means that an affiliate will be able to recruit and earn infinitely from individuals horizontally but vertically the earning potential will be capped. In this case it’s capped at the 10th level.

As for how an affiliate will get paid, it’ll be a percentage of the sales volume generated within each level in the structure with an affiliates rank determining the percentages earned :

  • Enrollers and Distributors earn 25% on level 1 (personally recruited affiliates)
  • Managers earn 40% on level 1, 10% on level 2 and 8% on level 3
  • Elites earn 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3 and 3% on level 4
  • Elite 5Ks earn 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3, 5% on level 4 and 3% on level 5
  • Elite 10Ks earn 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3, 5% on level 4 and 3% on levels 5 and 6
  • Elite 25Ks and 50ks earn 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3, 5% on level 4, 3% on levels 5 and 6 and 2% on level 7
  • Elite 100Ks and 250Ksearn 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3, 5% on level 4, 3% on level 5 and 6, and 2% on level 7
  • Elite 500Ks and  earn 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3, 5% on level 4, 3% on levels 5 and 6, 2% on levels 7 and 8 and 1% on level 9
  • BioReigns Elites earn 50% on level 1, 10% on level 2, 8% on level 3, 5% on level 4, 3% on levels 5 and 6, 2% on levels 7 and 8 and 1% on levels 9 and 10

Residual Commissions Binary

The binary residual commissions are earned slightly differently to a unilevel structure. This is because with a binary structure an affiliate can only recruit 2 individuals horizontally one on the left leg and one on the right leg. T

The same applies to all other members too but the amount you can earn from the vertical sense is practically infinite whilst horizontally it’s limited to 2 members on level 1, 4 on level 2, 8 on level 3 and so on.

In order to qualify for this element of the compensation plan, an affiliate will need to recruit at least 2 individuals, one on the left and one on the right leg of the structure.

As for how the earnings are calculated here, at the end of each month BioReigns tallies up new sales volume generated on both sides of the binary team.

The percentage earned is once again determined by the rank of an affiliate :

  • Enrollees do not earn residual binary commissions
  • Distributors earn 10%, capped at $1000 a month
  • Managers earn 12%, capped at $1500 a month
  • Elites earn 12%, capped at $3000 a month
  • Elite 5Ks earn 12%, capped at $5000 a month
  • Elite 10Ks earn 12%, capped at $10,000 a month
  • Elite 25Ks earn 12%, capped at $25,000 a month
  • Elite 50Ks earn 12%, capped at $50,000 a month
  • Elite 100Ks earn 12%, capped at $100,000 a month
  • Elites to Elite 250Ks earn 15%, capped at $250,000 a month
  • Elite 500Ks earn 18%, capped at $500,000 a month
  • BioReigns Elites earn 20%, capped at $1,000,000 a month

There are various other bonuses that BioReigns offer such as the matching bonus, global pool bonus #1 and #2, rank achievement bonus and expense bonus but, these are more so designed for already established affiliates over beginners so I don’t see much reason to cover them.

Of course if you still want to check them out, you can click here or watch the video below.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

Recruiting Is Essential For Success

Although you definitely can make a full time income with BioReigns purely through retail commissions, the recruiting side of the business will ultimately be the best way to make money with the company.

This is partially because once you have more recruits in your team the less you’ll need to work to maintain a consistent full time income as their sales will contribute to your income too and the autoship purchases from active affiliates will also essentially equate to you making guaranteed profits.

I personally don’t like this business model and the heavy reliance on recruitment but that’s just how it is. Therefore, if you aren’t willing to get good at recruitment if you aren’t already, succeeding as a BioReigns affiliate will be very very difficult.

The Owners Don’t Seem To Be Very Experienced

Neither Bryan or JoJo have very much experience within the medical side of things or even the MLM side of things, which may or may not mean the foundation behind the company isn’t very solid.

Of course not every MLM out there starts of with an already experienced MLM marketer themselves or a PhD major but, a lack of any documented information often doesn’t result in said company lasting for the long run.

Take this as you will but, in my opinion the owners” lack of expertise within the CBD or MLM market is somewhat of a concern, even if it isn’t the most prominent of red flags.

Most People Will Fail

I’ve found that only around 5% of all members tend to do decent within any given MLM institute where on average they tend to make $1k/month whilst around 1% of all active affiliates tend to make a full time income of around $2k/month.

Now, I’m not saying that these are the exact numbers BioReigns affiliates will achieve but, once it does become an established entity I honestly doubt that the figures achieved by their affiliates will be much better than the stats mentioned above.

THE GOOD THINGS

Other than the fact the CBD market is a relatively new and potentially very profitable market, there really isn’t much else that stands out about the company in my opinion. It’s way too new to effectively put a label on and from what I could find on it, it does comes across as your run of the mill average MLM opportunity.

That being said, even though it isn’t a scam I still don’t think it’s a great business opportunity to pursue.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding BioReigns, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you have your own thoughts about BioReigns and would like to talk about it, again feel free to do so in the comments below!
