OPM Wealth Review (A Scam And Pyramid Scheme Like MOBE!?)

It’s likely that you have come across OPM Wealth through an email list, on social media or got it recommended by a friend or family member.

Is OPM Wealth a scam? The reasons why you’re here is because you have want answers right so, that’s what I’m going to provide for you within this OPM Wealth review.

First and foremost I must commend you for actually doing a bit of extra research before committing to joining OPM Wealth. For all you could have known, the product could be a major scam so the fact you’re here right now, researching whether or not that’s the case is a pretty smart move on your part.

To be fully transparent with you, I am personally not a member of OPM Wealth so I can assure you that I will not attempt to sell you it unless of course it’s worth investing in.

What I will aim to do is provide you with an unbiased 3rd party look at OPM Wealth that will hopefully help you to make the best decision you can in the end.

PRODUCT NAME: OPM Wealth

OWNER/S: Stefan Dessalines

TYPE OF PRODUCT: digital MLM

PRICE: $2k – $27.5k

SUMMARY: I honestly do think that OPM Wealth is a pyramid scheme and scam, which is backed up by a ton of similarities between itself and a couple other digital service based pyramid schemes exposed in the summer of 2018.

Firstly buying into the company is very expensive starting off at $2k and reaching $27.5k, as it follows a pay to play system you’d need to buy into that highest tier packag to earn from every single package, the fact Stefan pushes the notion of applying for loans in order to afford the packages, the use of bitcoin transactions is a little shady too and the really low success rates of MLM’s are the main reasons why I would suggest not joining OPM.

FINAL RATING: 0/5

RECOMMENDED: NO!!

WHAT IS OPM WEALTH?

OPM Wealth front page

The first thing you’ll be greeted with if you find yourself on OPM’s website is a video and a 3 step capture page.

This is done so OPM can capture your info, of course OPM claim the typical rags to riches tale, which in this case is a claim that OPM Wealth’s able to help you earn 6 figures within 12 weeks, which I don’t think you need me to tell you is quite a ridiculous feat to do online, unless you get super lucky or have a good business budget and an effective marketing method.

As for who the face behind OPM is, it’s actually the guy you see within the short video on the capture, who’s an individual that goes by the name Stefan Dessalines.

OPM Wealth owner

The guy doesn’t seem to have a very accomplished background in the business marketing space but, in his promotional video for OPM, that he created all the way back in May 2019, he claims to knows a thing or two about the big three categories of business, namely dating/sex, weight loss and money.

Of course these statements aren’t completely backed up through evidence so I personally wouldn’t take Stefan’s word for it. As for how the system works, it mostly follows a recruitment business model which of course I’ll break that down in more detail in the next section of the review.

OPM WEALTH PRODUCTS

OPM don’t offer any retailable products, everything offered is digital and even requires that you buy into them in order to even earn commissions for every sale generated.

As for what you’ll gain access to when buying into OPM Wealth, it literally is nothing of true value, besides a backpack and a few other items for buying the higher level packages, which OPM admits they do only to follow regulations, you’ll essentially only gain the opportunity of earning a commission from the level at which you buy in.

In simple terms it’s very much like the pay to play system employed by the likes of the now infamous pyramid schemes in Mobe and digital altitude.

A pay to play system essentially means you’ll need to buy into a specific packages in order to earn commissions from that package and packages at a lower level, which as you will see below are super expensive.

Furthermore, OPM seems to pay its members in Bitcoin and other cryptos, which might I add is a decentralised coin meaning any transactions made within the members area won’t be easy to track and in turn won’t come to bite Stefan as aggressively in the arse later down the line, when the whole system is officially recognised by the FTC as a pyramid scheme.

Besides the level packages, OPM also offers an advertising package and rotator which costs $2.5k to help you with promoting OPM to others if you’re unsure of how to generate traffic.

How this works is that OPM will place your referral link within a paid traffic rotator which will aim to generate you leads that will hopefully convert.

Yeah, I doubt such a tool will be prove to be very helpful in the short or even long term so I would advise strongly against buying into this lackluster paid traffic and rotator package, then again I’m highly against everything OPM offers so I’d advise against doing anything with the company at all.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you decide to join OPM, you’ll essentially be signing up to what is called the Plutus plan and this plan is split into various super expensive packages.

These packages include :

  • Hermes ($2000)
  • Apollo ($5000)
  • Athena ($8500)
  • Poseidon ($14500)
  • Zeus ($27500)

As you can see, OPM is pretty much trying to sell people the dream by offering packages that are insanely overpriced when you take into what’s actually offered.

What’s even more crazy is that Stefan and his team actually advocate the process of you getting out a loan to buy into his thousand dollar packages. This is simply very unethical practice especially when you take into account the individuals he’s targeting are likely financially desperate.

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

First of all, if you decide to do so you can join OPM for free and even earn via the compensation plan. However, the qualifying criteria here is quite extreme as you will need to sell at least 5 packages before you can start earning commissions.

When you put into perspective, it’ll mean that OPM requires you to make at least $10k in sales before earning even a single penny.

The only saving grace here is that you don’t need to spend money to eventually make money with OPM however, the con here is that the service and products offered by OPM themselves are basically trash.

However, if you do spend money you’ll be able to earn 2 levels (unilevel structure) deep within the structure at the following commission percentages, for whatever level you qualify for :

  • 60% on level 1
  • 10% on level 2

That’s basically the entirety of the compensation plan.

THE NOT SO GOOD THINGS

It’s Way Too Expensive

This one is pretty self explanatory, after all when a MLM company asks you to invest almost $30k in order to get full access to their opportunity, you should always be a little suspicious.

Furthermore, when you take into account that such a company also suggests that you take out loans to pay for the packages, at that point you should also start questioning the integrity of said company too!

So yeah, OPM doesn’t seem to have much integrity and it also follows a similar pricing plan to the likes of other digital pyramid schemes therefore, the super expensive pricing of the packages offered by OPM is a huge red flag in my opinion.

It’s A Pay To Play System

As mentioned above OPM employs a pay to play system to gain full access to their full compensation plan.

This is concerning because pyramid schemes and ponzi schemes like Mobe and digital altitude used these tactics too and we’re inevitably shut down by the FTC.

That’s why OPM’s use of this pay to play system is massive red flag in my opinion.

Most People Will Fail

I’ve generally found that around 5% of members tend to make a decent income of around $1k/month whilst in most instances only the top 1% make around $2k/month.

I’m not saying that you couldn’t make more as an OPM affiliate, it’s just that the chances of you making any kind of money will be very very small and I say this having seen tens of different MLM income disclosure statements over the years.

THE GOOD THINGS

There is literally nothing positive about OPM Wealth in my opinion, it’s simply a recruitment scheme that everyone should avoid as to not waste thousands of dollars unnecessarily.

IS OPM WEALTH A PYRAMID SCHEME/SCAM?

I honestly do think that OPM Wealth is a pyramid scheme and scam, which is backed up by a ton of similarities between itself and a couple other digital service based pyramid schemes exposed in the summer of 2018.

However, if you’re still interested in making money online, the methods taught within my #1 recommended platform is a very good alternative to look into.

MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I personally will always recommend against using a MLM business model to make money, not because you can’t make money through it (you totally can) but, the system has always seemed shady to myself and is kinda synonymous with the likes of a pyramid scheme or scams (MOBE and Digital altitude).

Instead I prefer working with something created through ones own means and is ultimately dependent on yourself and your work ethic alone.

This method I’m talking about is affiliate marketing.

The reasons as to why I recommend it over MLM based structures are because

– there is no need to recruit constantly

– it is a legitimate method that has been working consistently and continues to grow as more businesses want individuals to promote products

– and because it is free to start up, no unnecessarily large start up funds needed.

The service I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It’s free to sign up to and will get you set up and ready to start your affiliate marketing journey within minutes, as it did for me when I begun my journey.

If you have any questions that you would like to ask me regarding OPM Wealth, feel free to do so in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
